The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Out Now

If you want an over the top quest go find the guy in an igloo in the middle of the sea north of the academy. So far I have a mysterious ancient ‘parchemin’ of pure divine cosmic knowledge or something that blinds me when I try to read it, a crazy guy waiting to open a giant dwemer containing the essence of the mind of a god, and a ‘abysse maudit’ demon apparition that swore it would break me like all the others. And it’s only beggining.

x2

yea, the game is ridiculously easy. i know smithing iron daggers x9021393102 to get lvl 100 smithing is cheating but come on, dragon armor! i had like 20+ scales and bones at my house in skyrim so i couldnt wait. i even forged a full dragonplate set for my companion, lydia(the one you get at whiterun).

the speech lvl glitch is pretty useful too, though it takes a bit of time. speech perks allows you to sell more stuff = more money. i have 46k now? and i have a house at white run and a horse. trying to be thane for all the imperial holds.

anyone has any idea if you are still allowed at winterhelm(stormcloaks) if you sign up as an imperial? still haven’t chosen a side. though the storm cloaks seem to be arrogant racist bastards.

*the most irritating thing in the game has to be your horse chasing down every enemy which attacks it, whether it’s a mudcrab or dragon. i’ve gone through 5 horses this way as they keep dying on me.

Yeah, I am wondering how that ends. I still need the blood of a wood elf to open the giant box.
I will need to kill the abysse in the end, as I serve no one!

Got to wait for the right mods and perhaps we’ll get some nice expansions from bethesda again.

Might be a dumb question but can I get mods on PS3?

Try this: ramp up the difficulty and finish the different factions (Dark Brotherhood, tieves, companions, mages, Imperials/Stormcloaks). Find the dragon priests masks. Find the deadric artifacts. Earn the thane title in different holds. Start using a completely different skill tree.

More fun to be had![/quote]
Yeah, I increased the difficulty one notch after holstering my ax and bare knuckle boxing an entire fort of bandits last night. My fault really. I made a set of legendary dragon armor and my ax was killing them in one blow so I put it away and went to town on their country asses.

I also bare knuckle boxed two cave bears at once. My heavy armor skill is going up a lot quicker:)

Well, I do not get why this is cheating.

You get better at something by doing it, this is just easier to do than most other skills.

Also, if there are racist pricks in this game and there are quite a few, it is those elf alliance bastards who have the imperials lick their feet you imperialist sympathizer.

Well, maybe as a woodelf I should side with those elves, but even though these Northern barbarians could not shoot a bow to save their lives (literally, they tried) and their lives are woefully short and their cuisine is only fit for the unwashed human beasts that they are, at least they have a healthy streak of independence.

Those brown dudes I like though. Not only do they have an almost woodelfish color, THEY ALSO WASH THEMSELVES REGULARLY…

You forget Aela from the companions in whiterun. She is deadly with a bow +she’s the hottest female virtual character around.

Did you just diss my Northern face painted Daedra dominatrix wife?

Because I think you did.

I shall not disclose where to find the enchanted orc boots that let you learn the secret how to carry lots of stuff, oh no Sir, I wont.

Plus, those humans still are filthy, they think I can see in the dark, whereas I only go by smell.

I’ve taken to using Shadowmere to distract dragons so I can backstab them. It’s harder to kill than other horses, and even when it dies it comes back a few days later. It’s also more aggressive - it doesn’t wait to be attacked, it just wanders around and kills shit with you.

On that note, I’ll just leave this here.

OK, so found a wood elf and took his blood.
Opened the giant box.
Took the book.
Told the abyss I serve no one.
He laughed and disappeared

What is the point of this mission?
Where does he pop up again?

What is the

Level 26. Nord. Killed about 12 dragons already, and the companions already made me that thing they are ( spoiler safety) and now I’m fucking killing everyone! Haven’t done much of the main quest, just decided to go around exploring and leveling up.

BTW, does anyone know what the level cap of this game is ? I already got 100 at smiting ( using the iron dagger trick ) but I’m more concerned now in leveling up the stuff I suck at ( light armor, magic, etc.) so I get better level bonuses, at least that’s how it worked in oblivion.

Soft cap is lvl 50. I think that’s because you’d have to start leveling other skills that you’ve never used to progress from there. The hard cap is around lvl 70 i think.

i lol’ed hard.

mobility is important!

Hmm. Gotta say the Bethesda NPC’s never inspire this sort of behaviour in me.

I did restart fallout 2 from the beginning after realizing half-way into the game that I’d burst-fired a dog to death in some city fighting bandits or slavers or whatever sometime at the beginning and I like dogs, so…

Doesn’t really happen in Skyrim though… Male and female armor is pretty much the same in terms of coverage, same with Aelas armor.

But yeah. Chainmail Bikinis are all over most fantasy worlds…

Gotta love female-styled powered suits though. They usually have E cup chestplates or something like that. Guess they fill the difference with kevlar for added protection?
