Decline from 2010-2020 is more pronounced.

We’re comparing absolute numbers to percentages so what looks like a mountain on one will be a mole-hill on the other. Regardless, I hope this to be true.
This doesn’t include an answer to my post about waffles.
I feel personally attacked!
I was referring to hypothetical chances of procuring a healthy, emotionally adjusted long term partner.
I am not convinced that the amount of unwed mothers in 1940 was sub 1%. I think a lot of these were mothers that were hidden, the woman / girl went to live with her out of state relatives for a year type thing (to save family honor). My MIL’s mother was one of these cases in the early 50s.
I don’t feel comfortable divulging intimate familial details. But I’d agree with you
I think I could do it.
Saw a metal band named Legion cover this. It was killer
If you don’t mind me asking, what is your religion? I am guessing Trad Catholic or Eastern Orthodox. You don’t have to say obviously.
I grew up in Queens, NY, one of the most diverse spaces on the planet. I now live on Long Island. A few months ago an Asian man in Queens, a delivery guy for a Chinese takeout restaurant, had a crime done against him. In news coverage there was mention of his wife. I thought to myself, “Damn, in his community he can ride around town on a bike delivering takeout food and have a wife. That’s amazing.” (Not joking.)
New Yawk
My family were a mix of Roman Catholic and Protestant. But it completely died out in my family at my fathers generation. Went from head coverings and religious parades to nihilistic atheism in one generation. Crazy.
I am Muslim, Alhamdulillah. For the better part of 5 years now.
Yeah all the Muslims I know are married and found getting married very easy. When I became Muslim I was recovering from a serious injury, unemployed, 100lbs overweight and had just been raided by the police. Just the fact that I was a practicing Muslim who prayed 5 times a day and always attended the Masjid meant finding a wife was extremely easy.
Same for all the Asians I know, Muslim or not. Women in these communities are not looking for much more than a religious man who wants to have babies with them rather than worrying about buying a house and being financially set before jumping into starting a family. The local halal takeaway delivery guy has two wives and about 8 kids. He can’t be making more than 18k a year.
Redpill stuff is very good at describing the western dating scene. But it completely goes out of the window when it comes to traditional communities. A Muslim woman would rather marry a broke man who can recite the Qur’an and wants a large family over a middle class Muslim who is chasing the worldly life. At least in my experience within practicing Muslim spaces.
By the way you are the second person to recommend me that book but I can never find it on online stores. I will have to keep my eyes peeled.
BN sells it. @LeHappyMerchant
There are always exceptions. For example a woman started the oldest university, Fatima al-Fihri, she was a scholar and teacher. But we shouldn’t create societies based on outliers. Space can be made for those who are true outliers. Who can justify breaking the general pattern because of an immense skillset.
But that should be the exception. Most women are always going to be happier having a family who they love and raise who in turn look after them when they are older and who they die surrounded by, rather than dying alone in their assisted care unit and the caretaker stumbling on their rotten corpse a few days later.
Just because you are asexual does not mean you won’t really want to be surrounded by loved ones in your later years. You probably will. And I genuinely hope whatever you cjhoose you are happy.
@LeHappyMerchant I also recommend the book Libido Dominandi: Sexual Liberation and Political Control by E. Michael Jones. I started it a few months ago but it is so long and I get so busy in the summer that I couldn’t make it through. But so far it is great.
Sexual Utopia in Power can be read over a weekend. It’s a collection of essays.
The oldest university is the University of Bologna.
E Michael Jones is a very nice man and it is very sad to see how certain “people” have managed to sabotage his standing within the Christian community. Thanks for the recommendations. He wrote a great book called Islam and Logos awhile back and it behooves the man that he can write on a belief system he doesn’t hold without purposefully misrepresenting it for his own purposes.
No it isn’t. Fatima bint Muhammad Al-Fihriya Al-Qurashiya founded her institution in 895CE. The University of Bologna was founded in 1088. Typically modern westerners in the liberal period tried to write her out of history, same with Ibn Khaldun and sociology. Auguste Comte was termed the father of sociology simply for picking up what Ibn Khaldun had started over 400 years prior simply without naming it sociology.
Similarly Fatima bint Muhammad simply didn’t call her institute a University. But it was the model for what westerners adopted from her.
It’s actually al-Qarawiyyin university.
Like @LeHappy mentioned the university of Bologna is only credited as being the oldest in an attempt to ‘whitewash’ history.
I agree with this 100%. The only issue I have (for men too) is how much of our choices are influenced by society and what has happened to us growing up.
Two things here.
This sums up most of the topics mentioned in this thread in my opinion.
The issue is not lack of choice because you, and any other women, have the choice to what you want. The issue what people want is the ability to choose without being judged, which is never going to happen. You have an issue with being shunned as a spinster (which google says is an older woman unmarried, with no kids who people perceive as not being normal), when you admit to not being the norm and not wanting marriage or kids.
Women have the choice to be sexually free but what they want is the ability to make that choice and it not hinder their ability for a relationship.
Women have the choice to study what they want but what they want is to study what they want and it not affect the money they earn as a result.
Men are also the same. It’s the flaw of humanity that even shows itself in religion. We are free to sin but not free of the consequences
My ex straight up told me a list of jobs a guy couldn’t have or she would never date them. Like when I used to work to McDonalds before. That was very shameful for her and she never liked when I talked about this.
I have given up on dating. I’ll try later when I’ll have more money and such
Not necessarily
Births out of wedlock are now the lowest they’ve been since the '90s
Not a bad guy per se
He’s said some questionable things about Jews. Like holocaust was a response to Jewish messianism, but it’s a moot point to dismiss everything he has to say over the basis of controversial remarks involving jews.
A nazi might have some valid points regarding his or her views on environmental conversatism. Am I going to dismiss his/her views on environmental preservation because he/she is a nazi? No… that’s ridiculous.
People are downright retarded over the manner by which they’ll dismiss EVERYTHING an individual has to say because he/she is an extremist.
A radical conservative/liberal can make good points depending on the topic of contention. A lot of radical liberals make good points re environmental preservation too. I’m not going to dismiss that because they have wacky beliefs re gender identity politics.
