The Dark Side

Well, it was a rough week. The mud butt continued and actually ended up getting worse for a couple days, and I’m still not quite normal. On top of that I managed to tweak my back a good one and I just stayed away from everything for 5 days.

Today I was feeling marginally better (though having the shits wake you up at night and sitting on the toilet making sputtering sounds at 4 a.m. is hard on the body and the self-esteem). I don’t have a scale at home, and when I went to the gym today I fully expected to have lost all 10 lbs. that I had gained over the previous week. Well, you can imagine my surprise when I stepped on the scale today and weighed 211 lbs. and change! I think I’ve found the next revolutionary diet: Test and Laxatives! After shitting out what I thought was every calorie I ate plus a bit of intestinal lining to boot, I get away with an increase in overall body mass and what appears to be a decrease in body fat. Nice.

My back is still fragile and hurts occasionally so I did calves/biceps/shoulders. Got a terrific pump like I have never had before, my chest and arms were like balloons, and it felt so, so good. I’ve heard of great pumps on some orals, but I guess this is a byproduct of test as well? Whatever it was, it was great, and I am looking forward to it again tomorrow. Back to work.

Cortes, you should start focusing on your lower. Good arms/chest, but it seems you’re neglecting your wheels.
Really? It is so strange how perception of yourself is so much different that others’ perception of you. I have always felt that my legs (sans calves) were fairly balanced with my upper body, and that my chest and arms are what need bringing up. Basically the opposite of what you noticed, Contrl. I’m not saying either of us is right or wrong, just that I never thought that.

Anyway, I’m working on all of it. We’ll see where that takes me.

hey cortes, just curious, what are your bench numbers like before and after the cycle?
mike51183 wrote:

Won’t know till after the cycle, only in the third week at this point. Don’t know max but I know my bench sucks and has always been my worst lift. Today I did bench and was doing around 250 for 4-5 reps for 5 sets, supersetted with light dumbbells.

So it appears I have finally started “feeling” the test. It is a distinctly different additional feeling I have not experienced with the dbol yet. And I think I am one of those people who take a while for the test to “kick in.”

I am at the end of my third week now. The last 3 or 4 days have been crazy for the amount of horniness I am experiencing. I work on the first floor in front of a train station, and am a gaijin living in Japan, and married, and I’ll be damned if I am not being intentionally tested by someone right now. The trains let out and there are floods of hot Japanese girls, high school on up, and it seems that every one of them that passes by has to smile and wave and giggle.

Sometimes I love living here. If any one of you guys has any kind of self-esteem issues or anything, come visit me for just a week or so. Unless you have a penis growing out of your forehead, I’ll guarantee you a little dose of my life is enough to cure you.

On top of that, I’m popping boners left and right! The other night I was reading a book on the history of business and entrepreneurship in America over the past century, and my dick is probing the ceiling like a dowsing rod. That’s okay because I’m at home, but the ones at work are rather problematic, as I have to deal with people coming in day and night.

Also all of those few tiny zits that had appeared on my shoulders are now gone. The dehydration from the week and a half of diarrhea seems to have made short work of them. There’s another home remedy for you. Acne problems? Forget accutane, try Bad Pork!

Having a lot of fun with this now.

Also, my last two shots have been in the delts. My wife (nurse) had me shoot around the back into basically the posterior deltoid. Haven’t drawn any blood and no problems injecting per se, except that it is a struggle to get around to the back with the other arm and aspirating and shooting with one hand is a lot harder than it was in ventrogluteal when I could steady the syringe.

That said, no pain on injection and I had expected my shoulder to be sore later on but I have experienced almost no soreness whatsoever. A slight bit about 8 hours later on the first shot and then none at all in the other deltoid (last shot 24 hours ago). When I shoot delts again I want to try medial and possibly anterior heads. Are there more blood vessels as you move toward the front? I am happy to experiment so I think I am going to shoot quads next.

Cortes,

The medial head is pretty much painless. However I tried the anterior head and was sore when training bench. Not a good feeling, but if you are careful it’s doable.

Never tried the legs. Will let you be guinea pig on this one and see how you react. Maybe I will do it on my next cycle at new year’s.

What a great thread. Interesting, funny and probably one of the best written ones I’ve seen. Keep posting Cortes… Love it!

Best of luck!!

Thanks! I’ll do my best. Gonna pin the quad today for the first time, will let you guys know how it goes.

“intentionally tested by someone” ? No bro its those pheromones swiftly hypnotizing and heating them up… lol!!! I notice it my self when i’m at the peak of any test cycle i’ve taken in the past…but like you I’m married so i feel your pain…

Pinned the vastus lateralis with a 23G 1.5inch. No problem going in, though it seemed to take a lot more pressure to get the oil to go in. When I pulled it out after about a minute it felt like someone had punched me in the leg, dull hot pain down from the injection site to under the kneecap. This sensation disappeared after about another two minutes.

Sometimes I decide to do stupid things. Today was one of those times. First, I got it into my head that I was going to draw with the 18G again (since I have about 30 of them and there wasn’t much oil left in the vial), forgetting completely that the reason I stopped in the first place was that I was shooting chunks of rubber into the oil. I drew, and was very proud of myself for how easily the oil went into the syringe. Then I realized that I had not sterilized the top of the vial. Then I started thinking about all sorts of stuff, like the original reason I wasn’t supposed to draw with the 18G anyway, and I look into the vial and there are two chunks of rubber floating around. Shit. So I just ended up trashing all of it. Probably two or three mls worth. Life lessons are no fun, are they?

Great workout thereafter. I am looooving the pumps. My upper body becomes like a big throbbing erection on chest/triceps day. Good stuff. Also the weight is starting to go up easier. I’m adding a few pounds and a few more reps to all of my lifts.

Also took a walk around the mall yesterday. My clothes are fitting tighter and my arms and chest are getting big, especially compared to before, and I was just feeling like a chingon.

If anybody wants to know what it feels like to be “on” test, this video is a pretty accurate depiction of exactly what it is like. Nice, eh?

Absolutely hilarious. This is gonna make the NY Times best seller list, I can feel it.

PERFECT example Cortes, lol!

Here is some advise for you. Don’t do It. There is much more satisfaction out of working harder and getting to the next level naturally.

“advise” should be “advice”, as your intention, I believe, is to employ the noun and not the verb in that sentence. No need to capitalize “It” in the next. In the next, “out of” should read “in” to use that idiom correctly. And we, steroid users, are the ones whose brains are shrinking?

Now, if you would like, BIGERIC, to sit a spell and have a nice long read through the various areas this wonderful forum has to offer, please do so. As it appears we are meant to suffer you, much like an unwanted guest at a party to which he was not invited, we might as well attempt to educate you in the process.

And perhaps you can educate us as well, as you appear to know so much about what is best for us. Tell me why there is more satisfaction in working harder and longer in a less efficient manner to achieve less, as opposed to getting, for the same amount of work: bigger muscles, a leaner, more beautiful body, increased strength, increased confidence and an overall sense of well being. This latter, when executed correctly, with no negative side effects other than a few transient ones.

No, BIGERIC, I think that is just something you and people like yourself say to make yourselves feel better about not doing anything about pulling yourselves out of that mire of mediocrity in which you reside. I’ve been at this game for a long time, buddy. And I sure as hell don’t need you to tell me the “right” way to get to the next level.
A most pontificate expose’ of poetic excellence if I may say so myself.

This post is a little late, sorry. I forgot to say that, because I was experiencing no sides and I wanted to experiment, I upped dbol dosage to 40mgs a day from the start of week 3. I have noticed nothing too different. No bad sides like acne or gyno. Good “sides” would involve continued weight gain (now almost 218, closing in on 20 lbs. of weight gain at the end of week 4) and strength increases, which I am about to go into.

I felt that the dbol did nothing for immediate strength increases. In fact, as I am a little weak compared to alot of other guys of the same size, I was a little annoyed the first 3 weeks or so at how slow the strength gains were in coming. Seems like in the 4th week they are finally kicking in. If you’ll recall, around 2 weeks back I made a PR in the squat of 284, then proceeded to tweak my lower back in that same workout. Well, the next week I took it “easy” on leg day and stuck to the leg sled and lots of machine work. The week after that (couple of days ago), I decided to get back under the bar and work up very slowly, see what my back felt like. I am very, very happy to report no repeated tweaking, and that my previous PR of 284 became my working weight, 5 sets of 4 of 284. Holy shit, says I! My goal at the beginning of all of this was to be able to easily squat 3 plates per side, and I think that may no longer be a dream.

I’ll be heading in for my bench workout tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Awesome Cortes! Sounds great and good job on taking it easy on the back/legs for a minute there, when a lot of times people just go for it while on and "feeling it". You're doing a great job bro. I'll be around with a new log after the new year too. YipeeeKiyayyyy mutha ....., well, you know the rest..lol.

Cool, Tone, thanks for the concern. Yeah, after you get a back injury as bad and as persistent as mine was, you tend to want to get to the other side of things. As far as taking it easy, my not taking it easy when I should have is what has resulted in plenty of problems for me. I need to remember your advice in the future.

Looking forward to following your next cycle, as well, bro.

Back injuries suck! but they are a lesson in patience bro.

Glad to see that you have self-restraint with all that test flowing. Shows patience, which a lot of young people don’t understand. The weights will be there tomorrow too and so will you. . .3 wheels? Nahh 5 within 2 years if you dial in your form.

5 plates would be fucking awesome.
