The Ang Lee Hulk movie was OK in my opinion. Though the best part is when he breaks out of the military facility then fights the tanks, then the copters and then jumps on the jet fighter.
That’s a solid 20 minutes of awesome Hulk shit. Oh the part with the Hulk dogs is pretty cool too. Though, yeah, the rest of the movie is slow.

Don’t be a child. Why are you surprised if people point out that you have to watch a movie before judging its quality when you claim a movie is going to suck based on one cast member’s dialogue in a trailer?. I’m not taking it personally - I’m slightly frustrated that you think you can comment on my opinions without actually reading and considering those opinions, but that’s as far as it goes.
You have an annoying habit of correcting people on movie-related threads (you’ve tried it on me enough times), so you obviously consider yourself to be something of an expert on the subject, which is why I’m expecting a more substantial argument as to why you think Thor will bomb beyond “Kat Dennings sucks” to issue forth from your keyboard. I’ve asked you to elaborate, but you can’t because you’ve only seen the trailer.
I’d certainly expect anybody who is even semi-serious about movies to watch the whole thing and then decide if it was worth watching.
As for Kat Dennings: I don’t know enough about her to form an opinion either way. Why do you keep trying to make out that I’m defending her when I’ve posted tons of reasons why her casting won’t automatically bury the movie? I’m being objective, while you are coming across like you have a grudge against her.

Because I have seen movies she has been in. I’ve seen enough movies to be able to generalize like this, you obviously haven’t newb. I didn’t need to sit through GI Joe to know it was going to suck. Come back and argue when you have actually watched some movies.

By that rationale, if an actor makes one bad movie, all the rest of the movies they’ll ever star in will suffer. Kenneth Branagh has said that most of the movie will take place in Asgard. How do you figure that Dennings will ruin it when she’s a human?
You have no business generalizing about anything, because 90 % of your opinions on movies stink (the remaining 10% is luck based on your brain fart posting style) and it’s no exaggeration to say you have the debating skills and vocabulary of a 12 year old.
Here are some of your greatest hits:
The Dark Knight’s opening scene was flawed by the Joker’s use of a school bus as a getaway vehicle.
Inception had “no depth”.
More recently:
Daft Punk did not deserve an Oscar nomination for their first movie score because they’ve “done better”.
I asked you to talk about your predictions for Thor and here you are, back to talking about Kat Dennings again, thinking you’ve found a gap in my argument because I admitted to not having watched enough of her movies. Truth is, I could make the same retarded argument by saying Chris Hemsworth should not have even been considered for the role of Thor because he starred in an Australian soap called Home and Away before quitting and moving to Hollywood.
But you already know all this because I’m the newb and you’re the expert…
I’ve made serious detailed posts that prove I know my onions when it comes to movies, and all you’ve done is act like a whiney little bitch calling my knowledge into question and failed to read my posts.
Show me you know what you’re talking about or STFU.

You’re right. Going by his conduct in this thread, the ‘12’ in his username is his age.
I wonder what the over/under is in post count before a thread goes from pretty cool to a flame war.

What up Brad, do you think the Cowboys will ever be back in Cali for training camp?

Depends on the forum. I find TNation is quite civilized compared to say Sherdog where every thread some how turns into a war between: GSP/BJ fans, Fedor haters, Brock worshippers, or anti-wrestlers within 20 posts.
Back to topic, I say we all make a pact to see this movie on opening weekend so we can have an epic week long discussion.
I’m down for that pact. But how long will it take before that ends up a flame war?

Inception did lack character depth, though I still enjoyed it.
Daft Punk just simply did not make a good enough score to warrant an Oscar.
And it really isn’t just Kat Dennings, but nice try jr. You show your stupidity with every post it’s pathetic it really is. To remember everything I’ve said in the past is really cute.

As long as the debates are over actual plot points, deviations from Batman mythology, and the conclusion of the trilogy as opposed to “OMGZ Tom Hardy wasn’t teh swole” or “Anne Hawthaway didn’t show enough boob” I’m fine with it.
The Dark Knight Rises is actually one, 134-minute single shot of me getting a boner. See it in Imax for the real experience.
Jokes aside, I can’t wait for this movie.
I was hoping for someone else to don the purple suit and Joker makeup–the character is just so interesting. He was in my opinion what set TDK apart from all other Superhero movies. I know a lot of that was owing to Ledger’s performance, but the Joker’s makeup would just make it SO much easier for a new actor to blend right into the role. I thought Depp would have done a good job.
BUT, Nolan has shown himself time and again to be the fucking boss, so I trust him in whichever direction he chooses to go.
I read a spoiler regarding what the possible plot may be:
SPOILER
Sources claim that the story will focus on Batman (Christian Bale) facing off against the League of Shadows, which is a vigilante group led by Talia al Ghul (Marion Cotillard), the daughter of Batman Begins’ villain, Ra al Ghul (Liam Neeson).
Meanwhile, Bane (Tom Hardy) will be Talia's "muscle" and "possible love interest," Joseph Gordon-Levitt will appear as another villanous character connected to the organization, and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) will ultimately choose the side of good and fight with the caped crusader against them all!

LOL. First define what you mean by depth of character, then explain why you thought Inception suffered for it. Re-watch the movie and pay attention. It had all the character development it needed.
Clue: to say it lacked development means the story went completely over your head. Any more character development would have changed the movie completely and worked against the central idea that Cobb is lost between two worlds and can’t distinguish between dream and reality. The audience is meant to get caught up in that.
I’m not even going to comment on your opinion of the Tron Legacy soundtrack based on your critique of Inception and your inability to read posts. Suffice to say you are judging the score against their previous work and not looking at how it enhanced the movie.
You’ve been saying all along that Kat Dennings’ one liners will ruin Thor, now you’re back tracking because you’ve a habit of pulling random comments out of your ass and then trying to make up for it by making childish jibes. For the sake of clarity, write a detailed review on your thoughts as to why exactly you think Thor will suck. At least one paragraph without referring to Dennings again would be great. Do that and you can end this right now.
It’s not hard to remember what you’ve said when they are among the most aneurism-inducingly retarded comments to come from a supposed movie fan. The amount of movies you watch don’t make you an expert when you neither understand or appreciate what you’re watching.
So far your only recourse has been to resort to insults. Let’s see if you really know what you’re talking about or if you’ll just dig yourself an even deeper hole.

You bore me with your wannabe pretentious attitude. You’re simply not smart enough to insult me properly, it’s sad, pathetic and every variation of both words. Maybe I should have been more specific, but I for one would have like a little more background on some of the characters that’s all. And I hoped your poorly wired brain could some grasp why I think Dennings will ruin the movie. It isn’t to say her character alone will ruin the movie, but more that there will be bad humor throughout the movie, which is annoying. The trailer reminds me of the horrific Fantastic 4 movies. Now go masturbate to some Kat Dennings pics, I didn’t know I would hit such a sore spot by bringing her up.
