I think total comfort is a figment of your imagination. No one is ever totally comfortable in anything they believe. That is why people search to find answers. Atheist, and Christians a like question if their belief is true or not at some point why else would you have so many people looking up first century documents? To me this is just the side of the fence I landed on.
I enjoy what I believe, and I believe that while there is not 100% proof to erase all doubt (which I don’t think that would exist even if God pimp slapped everyone and said believe). Reason why is somewhere along the line we would still sit there and think maybe this is just a dream, or maybe we are in the matrix. Doubt exist no matter what, but at some point in time you just rule out what you believe to not be truth.
