Hi Coach,
I am looking to switch off of Bill Starrās 5x5 and this looks like a great workout! I am currently trying to include more calisthenics in my workouts in preparation for basic training/officer candidate school this summer. On Starrās workout I either had enough left in the tank or on an off day would do a pyramid workout with pull ups, push ups, and sit ups. Do you advise trying to do this still post workouts, as this workout is not structured for every other day? Iām pumped to get started.

I would do the body weight stuff on the off days. I personally believe that a higher frequency of less stressful workouts is better than killing yourself a few times a week.
