Sorry Dmax honest lifter makes much more sense, he uses the Bible as his primary source much more effectively than zeb
I guess you have not kept up, and I don’t blame you there’s a lot of big words on this thread and the many others where I’ve proved JW wrong time and again. Now run along, maybe go to some squats and read a book this is no place for you.
What have you proved me wrong in?
Just because you do not beleive you are wrong does not make you right. I think a bunch we have discussed from Hell, to the Divinity of Jesus, to Jesus being ressurected in the flesh have all proved you are wrong, but you do not believe you are so I guess we will all have to wait till the end of times to see who is right.
One thing we have not talked about is how you are saved. If you beleive there is no Hell how does Jesus’ sacrifice fit into all this? What do we have to be saved from, and how do we get to heaven to be with God?
Just because you believe you are right, doesn’t mean you aren’t wrong. Everytime I tried to get into the discussion of hell, you said I was twisting words and changed the conversation.
You are the first JW I have encountered ever. This is some new thinking that is just out there to the things I beleive to be true. I also have to say they have been proved in the distant past to be heresy, but we will not go there. We are just going to have to wait to see who is correct. Lets move on to the second part of my post then.
How do you get saved, and what is the point of Jesus’ death and ressurrection? If there is no hell then what is the point of believing in Jesus. If there is no Hell then all will go to heaven in the afterlife, or we are just dust. What are the JW thoughts on this?
First off, there is a hell. But as i have discussed earlier, it is just the ground, or the common grave of mankind. The bible speaks of two roads, one that goes off into life and one that goes off into destruction. We believe the Bible says that the punishment for the wicked is permanent destruction, just like the punishment was for Adam and Eve. Whereas the reward for doing the works required of us is either everlasting life on earth, or in heaven.
Ok, so what distinguishes a person from being wicked?
So you are saying that “works required of us” is what gives us everlasting life? The everlasting life is here on earth, and not in heaven with God or you say Jehovah?
