The Bro Science Thread

I will down 2200 kcals of basil fried rice and a 60 g protein shake with rock salt and a gallon of water like it’s a 2 bite cupcake.

My wife hates that I can lose 10 lbs overnight.

Dammit. I shaved and bleached mine. Should have read the market better.

I predict trends.

Hold on…

When Hot Stuff first came out it was believed by many to be an effective supplement. I can never attest to that because I was cycling AAS, so I never tried it.

It seems after a couple of years the Hot Stuff formula changed. It was rumored that the original Hot Stuff contained Dianabol. I have no idea as to the validity of the belief. But I will say, that it was the craze for a couple years.

Yeah… i heard that myself. I remember you couldnt open muscle mag international without seeing seversl ads for it.

I’ve only learned of this code recently. Walking is like free clen.

A few times. I only ate meat/nuts/dairy for six months in my early 30s. Was a big fan of Mark Sisson/Primal Kitchen. Lost weight like crazy. No lifting.

A few years later, I got into lifting again and tried the Leangains approach. I lost weight quickly, but made minimal strength/size progress. I gave it a few months. I found Phase-Shift Dieting, which added insane (and fun) carb loads on the weekend. I’d be stronger on Mondays and Tuesdays, then get weaker and feel worse during the week.

Yet walking and clen are more effective.

From my observation, before clen the overall was seldom ever the heavyweight class winner. Most overall winners were from the light-heavyweight class, or sometimes the middleweight class.

Oh ya… the rumor was D bol or Anavar

Still significant from my experience. If it is 5mg of Dianabol per serving, two servings per day is the same amount that I took on 8 week cycles for the first 5 years I took AAS. That yielded good results by my experience.

That is because before the 80’s competitors were much smaller in general. Arnold was a monster at 6’2 235 lbs. There were not many elite competitors over 200 lbs.

What is more likely they started eating more and using Clen to cut or they started using more drugs?

Haney came around and all hell broke loose.

That cracks me up.

“Im taking 50 mg. of creatine. What sides to look out for?”

None. No sides.

Don’t you mean HGH and insulin?

I was on the judging panel of the 1980 Mr USA that Haney came in 4th in the Heavyweight Class. He looked okay, just not impressive.

That was my point. Those are still drugs.

Haney competed at 255 lbs. past Olympia winners were rarely over 200 lbs.

It was not Clen that allowed heavyweights and above to start winning, it was the fact that they started abusing all drugs.

Then the now famous photo shoot published in Flex magazine of Yates. Things just went nuts after that.

On a side note … Yates wasnt the first true mass monster. That has to go to Victor Richardson. Which most of the younger crowd arent aware of.

Any consideration for Harold Poole in the running there?
