The Brexit Effect

Quite so. I shall return to the past and shoot Ted Heath.

You don’t want to rush these things. Makes sense to take a few decades to work out the details following a vote!

I enjoy seeing phrases like this in place of “says some slightly nasty things about them”. In the same way “being a bit mean” is now “savage” or “brutal”. I can’t help thinking Mortal Kombat would have looked very different if the finishing moves were to poke fun at someone’s obscure political beliefs.

You prefer FINISH HIM to clap back? Yeah same here.

General Election before Xmas! The lunatics have taken over and are now running the asylum.

I like how Donald Tusk managed to elegantly spell out in diplomatic speak the prevailing mood in the EU towards the UK: “ARGHHH FOR FUCK’S SAKE LEAVE ALREADY I CANNOT STAND THIS ANY MORE”

For once, he’s speaking for the UK electorate too.

I think that’s debateable. Many people still believe that leaving the EU is a really, really bad idea, despite what you read in the papers. However I think most people on both sides would probably agree to almost anything at this point if they never had to hear about Brexit ever again.

I’ll certainly agree with this portion of what you said. I’m a Brexiter with leave and remain supporting family members and almost all of us want the current impasse to end, one way or another.

I can’t see Remain as a likely outcome anymore. Which leaves Deal or No Deal. Seems like an easy choice to me, but then I thought that in the referendum and look how that turned out. Clearly I read public opinion badly.

Don’t we all? Boris’s deal and Corbyn annihilated is my optimum outcome right now.

I think emmigration is mine.

Yeah I’ve got to think a massive part of the population at this point is just like fuck it do one thing of the other so we can move on to the next thing.

Makes you almost wish for a best 2 out of 3 vote with big things. It’s almost like a lot of people were like well fuck I didn’t vote because I thought surely that won’t happen. Do we actually want to do this? 6 weeks from now re-vote!

It’s like horse in basketball. Final letter you have to prove it.

If only we actually will be able to move onto the next thing. I think we’ll find leaving is childsplay compared to the laundry list of stuff we’ll have to deal with after. We’ve got a whole load of laws and regulations and trade arrangements etc. To replace.

There’s enough genuine reasons to be concerned about Corbyn, do we really need to make shit up?

Is he a communist? No
Is he completely incompetent, completely unelectable and largely incapable of coherent policies? Yes.

No, we know he’s a judophobic terror supporting loonbag just based on his record.

His Marxism we can guess from his self proclaimed Marxist chancellor and his Stalinist PR guru, Seamus Milne.

Edit: Al Johnson is a philandering opportunist with a loose relationship with the truth, and I’d vote for him 10000 times to stop today’s Labour Party.

Corbyn personally is by all accounts a heretic Trotskyte although he probably considers himself a Leninist, while Seamus Milne is an unrepentant Stalinist.

I beat you to it, but it must have been a photo finish.

After the establishment of the English Worker’s Republic and the final reckoning with the Trotskysts, speed and decisiveness will be absolutely crucial as one will have to beat them to the punch.

Good work comrade.
