I want bigger muscles and the line. I seem to have to choose…

I had one of those long twist donuts with chocolate frosting this morning. I also had cake again last night. Carbs are awesome.

Ok, now I want some pizza and Krispy kreme original glazed doughnuts. Daaaang

Pizza is a favorite cheat for me. Something so satisfying about some good deep dish!

Donuts don’t hold much appeal to me. Now those sausage rolls are another story!!!

I’m at a presentation and they’re here. I rarely go out of my way to get one.

I wish they’d have eggs or something with protein but no one ever does that.

When we host gymnastics meets I always make sure that our food is amazing. It’s so nice when you have to be somewhere all weekend to have great choices for food!

One time I put a cooler in the coaches room that said cold beer. Then another note inside that said “you wish”. The responses were pretty funny!

Jack hosts meet with ‘amazing food

People get there and it’s just steamed chicken, white rice and vegetables the entire time.

Is there an inside joke that I don’t know?

There was a whole thing. Medial delts is a misnomer, someone said something, Paul Carter got angry, someone got called a ‘clown dick’, hilarity ensued.

You’re a smart person for rarely venturing outside of training logs.

Yeah I pretty much only hang out here and in pharma. Some of the first cycle review threads are gold!

You’re the only reason I venture into those type of threads!

Slowly moving in the right direction. I got stuck at work yesterday so shoulders will get moved to today. That’s fine though. I’m still pretty sore from Monday and tuesdays workouts so a rest day will do me well.

I’m excited to see the doc tomorrow and hear what he has to say about my progress. Overall I’m doing pretty well. Was brave enough to have some relations with the Mrs for the first time since the hernia repair and everything worked ok so that’s good lol.

Getting down some eggs and oats and then time to lift

Hernia is hardly noticeable anymore unless I strain pretty hard in a stretched abdominal position… like tricep rope pulls with a big stretch at the top would probably hurt.

PT stuff - my ROM is up to 116 degrees. Doc says that’s awesome and not to push for more range right now. He wants to make sure the graft sets well and that the patellar tendon has time to heal properly. My swelling is pretty good in the morning but returns with a vengeance by bedtime.

They’ve added step ups to my exercises and that’s humbling. I can step up onto the 2 inch block unassisted, and can almost do the four inch block. Still have to push off with my right foot a little. The six inch block is completely impossible. I look at it and want to commit but my quad just won’t fire at that angle. Really strange feeling.

No workouts this weekend. Gonna try to rest up a bit and hit upper body more like 80% next week along with my leg pt. Hopefully after that I can train hard upper again and slowly get back to legs.

Stitches are out, don’t have to sleep in the brace anymore, and no covering the incision in the shower. Overall it’s getting a lot easier.
