Woke at 168.8 so maybe the water retention thing isn’t happening at all. I’ll tell ya what is happing is some really fantastic sleep. Man HGH sleep should be a new term. I woke up to pee and that’s it. Was so nice.
Today’s shoulders. Gonna do a bunch of drop sets today on the last set of each exercise.
It’s strange I simply cannot get sore in my shoulders. I absolutely smashed them yesterday with six exercises and triple drop sets on the end of each and this morning nothing. That’s so weird. Chest or triceps and I’d be super sore. Anyone else experience this?
Today’s a rest day, and tomorrow will be a total upper body conditioning day.
Diets been spot on the last two weeks other than last night. Wednesday night is date night, I’d planned on having fajitas with lettuce wraps and a couple of whiskey and waters. Then the bartender told me that someone had misordered a large margarita and it was free if I wanted it… I caved. Hey it was free and for sure the most sugar I’ve had in two weeks. It was delicious and I’ll keep the train moving forward now.
MRI got bumped to tomorrow. Should have a definitive answer by Monday. It feels fine until it doesn’t. I’ll move wrong and it’ll give out on me. My athletes laughed at me the other evening when I fell over spotting a kid on a double backflip. It said… I’m not holding you up any more buddy!
Occasionally I can achieve this if I do cable laterals to failure (8-15 rep range) and then do about 20 partials. Three sets of that has done it for me but it’s not regular.

Woke 169.0
Yesterday was a rest day and those are always hard for me mentally. I have trouble wrapping my mind around the idea that your body needs time to recover. Feel like I’m slacking when I take a day off even though I know that not to be true.
The omission of leg day is throwing me for a loop too. Think I’ll just do a total upper body conditioning/pump session today. Little bit of everything in a circuit fashion. Maybe just like 5-6 stations and hit as many rounds as I can in an hour with minimal rest. Sounds like torture, but fun torture lol.
In other news my MRI is today at 1:15, and my hernia consult is on Monday. Thinking of doing the hernia surgery first as it will be a quicker recovery. Guess we’ll see what the surgeon has to say.
Well an hour was over zealous. I kept a fast pace and heavy weight. 30 minutes was all my lungs could take. 30 minutes later and I’m still a bit nauseous.
Got the MRI cd today but won’t have the official call till Monday. Based on some research on form ACL images online pretty sure it’s a goner. Here are the images
Your lack of shoulder pain could be because of all you gymnastics background!! Just try painting a ceiling with a brush above your head for 12 hours, that usually works for me!
95% torn. Their words were hanging on by a thread lol. Meeting with general surgeon today for hernia and then based on that meeting /timing will arrange the other one
