The Breakfast Sandwich and Burrito Bulk - Jackolee

Well I had a solid lifting week. Missed zero workouts, hit 5 days straight, diet was good and I was feeling pretty damn proud of myself.

Then the trampoline humbled me with a ruptured ACL. It pops right at take off and in the second video you can see that the Tib and fib are not secure with the femur anymore. Guess it’s MRI time. ugh

That second video gave me the heebie-jeebies, best of luck with the recovery man.

daaamn…sorry to hear that man. Hope you have a speedy recovery. If ever surgery is offered, are you gonna take that route?

I think surgery is inevitable. I buddys writing me a script for an MRI tomorrow so I can at least bypass that appt.

Since I’ll meet my out of pocket max I think I’m gonna go ahead and do my hernia repair I’ve been putting off as well before the end of the uear

Sorry to see that. Yep, surgery is in your future. Post surgery get some BPC 157 and/or some HGH. It will definitely speed up your recovery

Damn, Jack. A good 6 months of rehab is in your future I feel. You’ll be able to keep a Jack’d Jack upper body, though I’d imagine…

Mentally much better today. Was in a bunt of a mental funk about the knee over the weekend but now it’s time to put the work in.

Today’s training
Chest and triceps
Incline and fly press and flys
Narrow press superset with tricep pull downs
Kneeling tricep extensions with pushups. 55 minutes in all with 90 second rest periods.

Brutal. I’m still dealing with a knee injury (from BJJ not weights) at the end of August. Best of luck on the recovery!

Sucks, but good luck man. All about keeping the motivation up during recovery, which I’m sure you’ll have no problem doing. Looking back I kinda enjoyed the challenge of trying to find new ways to continue pushing myself in the gym any way possible while recovering from bicep tendon surgery

In light of the possible surgeries and down time I’m going to do a little cut down to 165 over the next month or so. I don’t think it will be that hard and will give me a buffer going into the holidays.

Today’s training
Back
Superset 1
Wide grip lat pulls
Straight arm lay pulls
3x15 - droplet last set or each

Superset 2
Low cable rows
Mid cable rows
High cable rows
3x15

Superset 3
Seated incline dumbbell curls
High rep ez bar curls - bar only
3x15 and 3 x50

Alternating dumbbell curls
3x15
Isolation curls
3x15

I got a message from the imaging place last night and will call and schedule my MRI today. The knee is feeling pretty good as long as I’m careful with how I move/step. By the end of the day it’s pretty cranky though.

Plan for the mini cut will be
200 p 100-150 c <50 fat just shy of 2000 calories. I’ll allow an alcoholic drink here and there and one cheat meal a week. Should be a solid plan. Considering throwing some HGH in the mix to aid in recovery from the operations via @studhammer suggestion. Seemed to really speed up his shoulder surgery recovery. Hope everyone kills it today!

If you’re going to do this then start sooner rather than later. Everything I read said it takes six months to really feel the effects.

Yeah I get ya there. It’s a cumulative effect. Results get more dramatic as you go. Funny enough I just got an email from my guy for 100 iu for $128. That’s an awesome price. 100iu should last me 1 month. I need to go ahead and order

Holy crap! The source I found up here was going to cost $300.

I was on before my surgery and kept it going for a couple of months after

Ended up going with a slightly different type. It ran $150 100iu. Ordered 200iu to start

Nice. I’m gonna rum 3 iu for 6 months. Hopefully that will speed things up
