Same. Beans are my meat haha. The only thing I’ll salt is lentils. I do it in the form of low-sodium soy sauce because otherwise the things are pretty tasteless. Actually same with broccoli. It doesn’t have much of a taste.
Also it’s great to have big goals even if they might take a long time. Plus, who knows, now that you’re on your bulking diet and new cycle you will probably have so much more energy to get some big strength gains (not only in your bench but your legs too cause I know you wanted to hit those hard)
Yeah, I’ve seen that one before, and it was obvious just looking at the guy that there was no way it was happening. The funniest part is that he actually tried again.
I just hope she’s free of any underlying issues that caused that, and can heal normally now that she’s had the surgery. I read an article where someone had an unexpected break playing soccer, and it revealed that she had early stage leukemia.
Is it bad I can’t stop laughing at this? The man painted his face and everything with a big crowd. Could they at least show a 700lbs completed lift or closest he got? That bar benched him…
Been doing a bit of a light this week and trying to listen to my body. I’ve simply felt a little worn out this week so I’m just doing a few exercises for each muscle group. Pushing decent weight but not smashing it as usual. Hoping that this will help break through some barriers.
Nothing much else to report here. We have state championships for Trampoline this weekend and then a few weekends of no work woohoo!
Feel much better today after a few easy days with training. Lifted chest and triceps today and decided to attempt a 1 rep max on bench. (. The last time I benched was about 6 months ago) I’m a dumbbell and machine guy, but thought what the heck why not.
Did a handful of reps at 45, 135, 225, 275 and then went for 315. Made 1 rep but it was about all I could muster. This tells me I haven’t recovered from my competition cut yet. Last time I tried a 1RM I hit 335.
Oh well I guess that just means I have room to improve and get stronger. Obviously my focus has been more on body composition and size. All you strength lifters feel free to tear this video apart.
