The Body Weight Factor

hahahah, if anyone agrees with any of the following, please speak up:

-you saw fat in muscle tissue with your naked eyes in dissection
-sarcoplasmic sheath is real
-more fat = more fatty acids in interstitial fluid = fascial stretching = bigger muscles
-100% of studies going against your dumb “theories” aren’t valid because the sample size was too small and none of them competed in the NPC
-more fat DOES NOT = more insulin resistance and you can’t prove it
-no limits, even though 3 lbs/inch hasn’t really been breached by natural trainees
-you don’t lie constantly in order to justify your fatty fatty boom boom status

My uncle wasn’t “diseased” his whole life UNTIL he was diagnosed with diabetes. That was only mentioned because someone said being leaner alone means you have better insulin resistance.

Since he was very thin his whole life, he never should have got diabetes from that logic, right?

Wow…it is like some of you miss the outright obvious.
Fail. Better…

You must be contending that gaining weight wouldn’t have made him worse. Because your little anecdote doesn’t contradict any contention made.

did his doctor recommend he get his bodyweight up? WHY DO I HAVE TO GIVE DIABETIC PATIENTS ADVICE

WHERE AM I

?? It is simply a statement that being fatter alone does not dictate someone is closer to “disease” than someone else.

You had no problem with disaster making that statement. Why?

Of course it is more complex than just being lean since there is a lot of chemistry(or lack of) behind the scenes. That is not to say that being lean can have a significant effect on insulin sensitivity.

African Americans are genetically predisposed to have a much higher risk of diabetes. You can’t say that doesn’t have some effect even though he was lean.
That isn’t the point. The point is that you can NOT claim that a leaner guy has better insulin sensitivity than someone carrying more fat with that as the only variable…yet you had no problem with that when browndisaster wrote it.

Why?
Right. Obviously, it is not the only variable in the equation. However, the leaner guy is much more likely to have better insulin sensitivity. I am in no way saying it is absolute.

It isn’t even close to absolute. It is a baseless statement.

Someone who is “17%” and someone who is “12%” are standing right next to each other. You are saying the fatter guy is more likely to have more insulin resistance based on that alone?

That isn’t science and is exactly why I made that point before.

If you were comparing someone who was 35% and someone who was 12% it would make more sense BECAUSE of obesity.

THREAD = MIND.BLOWN

Lol we’ll have to agree to disagree. In my day, we all listen to the guys who got big, strong, and lean, and the guys like you were more quiet. Damn internet giving all these people a voice…

So then what you wrote as quoted below isn’t necessarily true, because, according to what is written above, it is safe to say strength can be gained WITHOUT some muscle being gained.
Why take one sentence out of an entire thread where I did already write that someone learning an exercise can cause a strength increase?

You don’t bring anything at all to a discussion but this. Way cool, bro.

What I wrote is a pretty common statement. If you are NOT using strength gains as a gauge of progress at all your perspective is way off.
Kay, buddy. Keep on writing “common statements” that totally contradict each other and act like you know what you’re talking about.

I’ll just assume like most here that you’re just writing crap at this point to keep you’re lame attempt at refuting others going.

If what I was writing was lame, there would actually be some people refuting it.

I haven’t seen that. I see people acting like obesity is the same as “fat gain”.

But hey, it isn’t like you are here for any other reason than to have an issue with me.

I rarely even see you post about anything else. That is very odd…but like you said, it isn’t because of emotional attachment because you aren’t gay.
Professor X wrote:

Hearsay anomaly. Unless we are NOW allowing one-off cases to prove points.

Oh, there’s been plenty of good conversation in the thread, just not when you’re posting.

That’s because you choose not to.

Back to gay bashing, Huh?

Dude, if you are gay, this is 2013. No one should be looking down on you for it.

I think you WANT to have a gay following you as much as you talk about it. I mean, how many times have you accused people of being gay and following you? It’s OK to be curious, just don’t push your fetish on others, Kay?

Oh, let’s stay on topic. Your need for gay followers is not what this thread is about.
cueball wrote:

Not really, but hey, that isn’t stopping you.
Professor X wrote:

Dude, don’t even take the bait. He will just somehow turn it around and somehow come to the deluded conclusion that you are homophobic for believing he is stating it in a derogatory way.

WHICH HE OBVIOUSLY WAS.

Can I ask X, your old cartoon Avi was of a muscular LEAN black guy, obviously what you thought was the ideal physique.

Why has that changed, realised it’s too much hard work or something?

Are you just posting junior high insults till you lock up the thread and you won’t have to work so hard at defending you poor arguments?

How mature.

LOL coming from someone that has dropped SteelyD’s name over and over in the last few threads…

I’m sorry if I put a bad image in anyones mind
