I’m going to assume you purchased some of this…

The entire banking system in the US. Scam. They own our currency, not the government.

Biggest scam orville reddenbacher popcorn. That fucker is dead, yet somehow they still make commercials with the fucking six flags guy subbing in for him!

I think that would merit a whole other thread

Thats fair. Agreed
lemme just quickly state why then /my hijack (i promise)

MLB knows everyone who was tested pos (103 players i believe it was) and they wont release them! wtf! and also it makes kids in grad school/hs/college believe they need that shit to succeed…if it were truely banned and people were harshly punished (2 yr suspension) you wouldnt see anyone using, which would have a trickle down effect on college/hs etc players.

/my own agenda

The whole college thing is yet antother reason why I will never go there, I dont care if I have to give up my love for PL’ing, I am going to be a sucessful machinist dammit. and if at all costs it dont work, I will be a good utility linesman.

my biggest scam: SKOAL CHEW, expensive, and not any better that grizzly.

and obama

major league baseball and steroid abuse… for the record i dont give a fuck if u guys use them (i was actually thinking of running a cycle once or twice), but it shouldnt be allowed in sports
They might as well let every player have a choice in doing it. Which would never happen. Yet that seems to be the only fair solution.

The fed is bs…Money comes out at a debt, which means its impossible to ever get level.

The whole 9/11 truth following, I can’t believe so many people buy that shit. And metro sexuality.
Dre the Hatchet wrote:
Soy being promoted as a health food.
People creating a hysteria over soy products in order to sell their anti-estrogen supplements.

Life should include pain, life should be tough to an extent, but it’s getting to a point where shit is just ridiculous. My friend has a psycholgy degree. We work together… selling fucking shoes! My father, business degree, security guard. Me, trying to be a student while working 6 days a week and not being able to buy a stitch of clothing for over a year. Not being able to do laundry for weeks because it’s too expensive.

People do not make nearly as much as they used to relatively. Back when people made 5 dollars an hour, a pizza only cost 5 fucking dollars. If you make 8 bucks an hour, you gotta work almost 2 hours just to eat a pizza for one meal (well, depending lol).

A lot more people are saying fuck school because they cannot afford to go to school when the bills come in, they need food, clothes, anything really. They tell you that you need school, but they make it extremely difficult to afford and balance and the degree they give you doesn’t assure you that your going to get a job that’s worth it.

I find myself in this very situation. Do I go back to school, bouncing from friends’ houses, relatives’ houses, just so I have a roof over my head or do I work and provide for myself with what little I have? Why not just go to school part time? Perhaps because schools like to fuck you by taking away financial aid and loan opportunities if you’re not enrolled full-time.

Thank Jesus for being born because I wouldn’t even have a gym membership had it not been a Christmas gift.

So I mean yeah, life does have to have it’s lessons: drive fast in the snow and crash, don’t drive fast in the snow again. But that lesson shouldn’t be: work your ass off in school and carry a decent job while you do it and… maybe get rewarded for it… or not.

The shaving cream racket!!

The US goverment trying to “protect” people. You can bet once the goverment starts fucking with something, it will get fucked up (I don’t care what party is driving it, it will be fucked regaurdless).

I don’t get it when someone is saying global warming is a scam. Think about it one second: why would someone want to make you believe in global warming? What does it makes people buy? But I can understand someone wanting to make you think it doesnt exist.
It is a fact.

Can you guess what it is?

My vote goes to “college.” How many college grads have their bachelors degree in hand and can’t get any job that requires the mental capacity greater than that of a monkey? A bet a whole crapload. I thought a BS in a business concentration (finance) would be one of the most marketable degrees.

Yeah I’m bitter. I’m thinking of how else I’m going to support myself and not go mentally insane as I work in a warehouse picking up boxes.

ahhhh, Finance WAS a great degree to have up until about 12-15 months ago. My buddy was making 6 figures 24 months out of college. Now he and like 3 other people are the only ones left.

And I thank my lucky starts every day I went to school.

Give it awhile and demand will go back up rapidly in that field. Maybe get your MBA while you wait?
Excellent advice. If you just finished your bachelors before the world economy took a dump, continue on and get an MBA. Not all finance jobs are tied to the market, those which are not may be less lucrative but far more secure.

I hear accounting is always in demand.

It is the greatest scam ever.

If I have you believing in man made global warming I can get you to buy anything. All I have to do is slap an energy saver, or eco friendly logo on an item and all of a sudden you have to replace all your shit with new more eco friendly stuff.

Check out the latest EPA report, this is the greatest scam in the history of America.

What about those penile enlargement pills? I bought a bottle and ate the whole thing in one day and my dick hasn’t grown a fucking inch.

Plenty of room for more strippers

Makes no sense. The most eco friendly stuff is what you dont buy. Way to go economically. And by the way if you are talking about ‘‘eco’’ cars (which are not ecological btw) they are supposed to consume less fuel. Another economic downside.

I dont know if you lack sense or you just believe what you want to be true

[edit]

and what if I dont give a shit about global warming (like you do probably). You cant get me to buy anything

Think about this though: if global warming is a scam that we just bought into, what are the consequences compared to the consequences if global warming is real and we ignore it? There are a lot of studies supporting both sides of the argument, but the consequences of being wrong are either we lose a bunch of money because we erred on the side of caution, or the fucking Gulf Stream shifts and we’re all under water because we didn’t believe a ton of the top scientists in the world when they said we’d better be careful. I’ll err on the side of caution any day, given the other possibility.
