Hi, Haven’t posted on T-Nation for a long time. I have Coaches Black Book of Training Secrets and loved it (Read it many years ago). I am interested in " The Best Workout Plan for Natural Lifters" series.
Forgive if this has been asked before, if it has a link would be appreciated as I couldn’t find one.
What are the equipment requirements for this plan? I have a home gym now and limited to a power rack, Barbell, and Dumbbells.
I am doing the same workouts and workout in my home gym. Only additional things I have are a high and low pulley. I’d love to bounce substitution ideas around if you need to!
Coach, I bought you plan for natural lifters. can I work out at home and can do all the exercises in the program except for machine press. I sub bench press. I have a leg press can I sub that in for front or back squats once in a while? is it ok to sub out some exercises? I followed your program for natural lifters you wrote back in 2017 for a while and really like both programs. what do you reccommend after I complete both programs for natural lifters 1 & 2? can I continue back to 1 and start over with increased weight?
Actually coach, Since I just turned 64 I am just trying to better today than yesterday. I have had Shoulder surgery been in a bad car accident have hardware in my other shoulder. I also have psoriatic arthritis. I can’t do front squats. I do Hex or trap bar squats. Thanks for reading and love your progam and articles.
I’ve been doing this program in a garage gym and have had to make a couple substitutions. As long as you sub something if the same movement pattern that hits the targeted muscles you should be just fine.
