Ok, I’ve decided that I would try buying some porn DVDs. I’ve searched through a lot of descriptions, and nothing seems to really appeal to me. What are your suggestions? I would like stuff with some semblance of plot and good looking women. No gonzo or interactives, though.

If you have some free GB and a broadband connection, you might want to consider DLing porn rips until you find what you want to buy.

Sometimes, you guys are remarkably useless. The reason I was looking into them was because a female friend of mine has been strongly suggesting that I start a collection so that she could watch them with me. She doesn’t want to do any of the ordering, or really give me any indication of what to get.

I can’t remember exactly what it was, but I remember that Maxim had a suggestion a few issues ago about some “female friendly” porn. The male actors were actually attractive (no Ron Jeremy’s), and the plot was somewhat developed. I just can’t remember who the director was. Anyone else see that Maxim?
Why not order some of the Spice Channel, HOTT, or Playboy? They have adult programming that is probably more suitable for what women would like to see. You can rent six-hour blocks or something like that. Just record some or watch some and see if that’s your thing. I haven’t watched much porn, so I can’t recommend anything else.
Some of my favorite – Taboo, Beyond the Green Door, The Anals of History. For real plot, go for the classic 70’s porn, it has a plot, the sex scenes are good, and you’ll have something to laugh about when people are trying to act. Also, there’s a lot of cinematic porn coming out of Hungary these days, but It’s been a while so I forget the titles (most are in English). Oh, almost forgot…I have one VERY high reccomendation, a series called “Blue Vanities.” The series is a vast collection of vintage porn, from early 1900’s silent flicks, through the 1970’s. Porn produced between 1912 and 1960 has a lot of variety, and is truly fascinating to see how much the ideals of beauty have changed…and it’s also very interesting to see how the basic techniques of porn have NOT changed in the past century. Ah well, that’s just my take on it.
Some suggestions on downloading. ShareReactor.com w/ eDonkey, mIRC, and ftpcrawler.net can find you at least a few hundred high-quality (the porn, not rip quality) porn rips and thousands of decent. You might already be checking them out, but you can get at least a rip a day on a high speed connection w/ those. eDonkey may take a while though.
For female friendly porn try Conquest, The Search for the Snow leopard, or Blue Movie. These have the top stars in them and big time movie budgets for scripts and props. Your girl will dig them!!!
Go to Adam & Eve’s web page and have them send you a catalog. Once you get the catalog, every week they will send you a special offer and each offer will have some free porn movies tossed in. Most are short 5,10 min.sex action, but the tapes are about an hour long. This will allow you to shop from home. Home grown video also has some rather interesting stuff. A lot less talk and alot move action. Or, get yourself a satellite dish and be amazed.
Dude, movies produced by Vivid have a semblance of a plot, and always have the hottest chicks. I like the old Chasey Lane stuff best, but they always put out good movies. Spank away.

Candida Royale makes pornos that are specifically geared towards women. I have not, however, actually watched any of them. I hear they are pretty good. I would recommend movies produced by Vivid, Wicked, or Caballero, generally they tend to be bigger budget, better quality. I can’t say I have ever watched a porno whose plot really stood out, but I do like good sound quality, good looking actors who look like they are really enjoying themselves, good hair and makeup, smooth skin, nice locations, and attractive lighting, and WELL ENDOWED MEN who are fully erect. I think the above will enhance the experience more than a “plot”. I think watching some middle aged pee-wee with a semi trying to bang a strung out junkie in a motel 6 is what turns alot of women off to porn.
