Got rack set up. Fit better than I thought it would. Still basically out of space in my tiny bedroom, but aside from a little bit weight in the form of plates I am pretty much set to train my heart out in confines of my bedroom. Ideally I would be able to get a set 5lbers but kind of hard to not get gouged on that stuff.

Came back to finish workout after finishing final project for Intro to Athletic Training. Lowerback was toasty after the first set so I just backed to 135 and got a sick pump.

Quick workout. Felt good to Front Squat again. Stress been kind of eating me alive recently. Excited to push onwards to something else once this mile is over.
I knew once I started I knew I was recovered enough to meet my goal. So much power and energy in every lunge. The first quarter was a little slower than I wanted. I tried my hardest to keep my pace up but somewhere in the middle I slowed down. I tend to hit a second gear during the later parts of these workouts though. Around .88 miles I checked time and distance and knew I was just 2 or so minutes slower than I needed to be. So I pushed and gritted through it. Tried not to stop for more than few seconds. I heard the app say “mile time time blah blah” and I knew it was over.
I am glad I did this. I pushed myself mentally and physically very hard. but I will be glad to do something else. I want to push Squats. This GPP base I built with so many lunges should help with almost all my goals for this year.
