So after the last set of RDLs and before the the final grip set I had to lie down and stop. Extremely light headed. Got the last set done a few minutes later. Took a longer break between the lifting the sprinting to let everything subside. Feel fine even after sprinting, I think I just pushed the envelope too much and being in deficit doesn’t help either.

Shoulder still kind of hurts, nothing terrible though. Can tell its getting better, but still playing it safe. Everything right now super light, giant sets, and roughly 1 minute rest. Gonna build up my conditioning while I build back up. Hope everything will be close to back to normal in 9 weeks or so.

Hoping to be able to do Winter Siege 2 in December. Should be getting details about that in the next couple weeks. I already talked to one of the guys when I was getting weighed in for Monsters of The Mississippi and he mentioned that they were doing it again they just needed to hash out the details.

Today would have been my competition, but I did not go due to the injury. Made me pretty depressed almost all day, but I came to the gym mentally ready to work towards my recovery so I can compete again. I ended up going to work to work the shift I would normally work on a weekend. I got it off for the competition, but I asked to be put back on the schedule since I couldn’t go. I think I might have gone stir crazy if I hadn’t gone to work.

I have thought about it, since it is convenient for me and I know the guy, Jake, who is running it. Kind of depends on how this healing process goes and how training is is going. If I do go I am probably going to be deciding very close to the event.

Throttled back on this a little bit to give my shoulder some room to recover. Macgyver’d an SSB with some straps and a manta ray for the back squats and lightened the RDLs and added a rep to each set.

Is it weird that I feel strong and invincible even with my shoulder constantly reminding me otherwise? My systemic recovery is probably just through the roof right now.

Can they taint it with some BPC 157 please?
i looked that up… i’m definitely buying some in the future for “scientific lab research purposes.” its been researched since 1991 with no side effects.
