July 30th I’m dieting for 3 more weeks and doing high rep sets and conditioning work so my conditioning should be just not awful enough to let me finish the carry courses. It’s looking like there won’t be a deadlift event which kind of sucks because that is without a doubt my forte even hurt.

Description given was “you have the quads of a 600 raw squatter with the hams and glutes of a 400 squatter.” Which leaves me around 5 and less voluptuous than I want to be. Fuck. touched 315 to a 2 board which made everyone unhappy because apparently I shouldn’t be able to get 315 anywhere in a shirt, so this thing was pretty loose on me.

No disrespect to geared lifters but jesus a bench shirt does a lot for you if you’re a triceps heavy lifter. I feel like a million bucks and I’ve got a big dumbass smile on my face I can’t seem to make go away. Rowe also corrected my elbow path and I got a bunch of pointers on my arch and upper back placement and tightness. Awesome.

I’ve decided I can’t stick with shirted work exclusively it’s just too attractive to my ego, maybe when I get my raw bench to 500 I’ll get back into this but for now it will just be a side project likely alternating every 2 weeks or once a month, I was told my triceps are “pretty good” and that in a tight shirt 500 off the chest is a definite possibility. Hah. I can’t bench 500. Tooooooo tempting. video of the 505 up soon. I am already feeling the CNS effects of holding these weights and I’m curious if this will in fact help my raw bench. Time will tell I’m very excited either way.

Pretty fucking done. Down to 236 and bench has dropped pretty hard very not carbed up ,tired as hell but still shoveling back eggs, burgers, fish, cheese and vegetables. Will be very glad to finish this keto off and rebound some water and glycogen and bench something not fucktarded soon. Also had to talk a kid down from using orals which required a few little white lies on my part and some legitimate research. Those orals are fucking poison in the last 3 weeks I’ve heard 3 different people tell me horror stories about kids as in sub 21 guys going to the hospital because they had liver problems while on fucking oral pro hormones/funny named pansy legal designer steroids. Just get older, bigger and hairier on squats and milk and then get a needle if you want to go that route, do your research and talk to some big people who have already been down it.
I think I may have retorn my hammie. Fuck. I have wildly disproportionate soreness in my left as opposed to my right hamstring, borderline painful painful relieved by knee flexion. Hoping against hope it’s just odd soreness or I somehow had more focus on it.
Not torn just probably strained because it’s weaker on that side, awesome, no bruising and much much less disproportionate pain after contrast showers, foam rolling and very very light band hamstring curls and stretching. I feel like I’m a scientist, look at all the science in that list. Still hurt the one side a lot to pull 135 so just to be safe I squatted because that didn’t hurt. Bodyweight seems content to stay at 236 so I may call the diet there, I feel plenty leaner and my strength seems to be getting a hell of a lot better because I am actually training my glutes and hamstrings hard again.
In my still loose belt which was actually tighter than last time because I made 12 bo burgers without the buns with tons of cheese for my first 3 meals and last nights last. ( I’m cool with the bloat because I saw 2 of 6 abs this morning… Which is important because I’m a little girl.)

NOW I didn’t know this bar was 55lbs until Rheta told me I just thought I was having a decent day. But I wasn’t. It was actually a fucking awesome day, the best day I’ve had in a while in fact, sore hamstrings AND dieting AND still a squat PR. BOOSH the GHR is already showing it’s worth and is totally worth the suckage involved I can’t believe how much stronger I feel out of the bottom. I also found out I am now inflexible enough to not be able to get down to zercher from the floor easily however I’ve always felt I got more out of doing them from a low pin and got less low back action and more glute work from starting in a mostly upright ass to grass stance and just seems a hell of a lot harder for me than doing them from the floor, even when I was stretching my hips and could get that low effectively.
