She might not realize it, but she’s quite the inspiration for many of us.

Thank you for the kind words PushmePullme, HeavyThrower, PowerGnP and Zephead4747. I am just trying to keep on keeping on as they say…

Me too.

The sad thing is that Squat, I loaded 635 for my next attempt, walked it out and 1/8 Squatted it before I realized that I was in over my head. I reracked it and watched the 620 video. If I had seen what 620 looked like, I don’t think I would have even thought about 635!

you know since i cant really squat heavy cuz i got shitty form and my bench is plateuing

DEADLIFT RULZZZZZZZZZZ!!!

the way i look at deadlift, if you can pull deadweight off the ground raw except a belt, you the man

Modi: Did you really try even heavier than shown in the video? Man, you are insane. I could put my house on that you was unable to do a heavier weight after that attempt. It was a great PR, and the push you created against the ground created a earth shake in china. You are one insane man! (Take that in a good way)

Isn’t it crazy how strong a max lift looks while at the same time feeling like your lifting a house?

Very true. If done right, it usually looks a lot better than it feels. Although after looking at my 620, it looked about as hard as it felt.

Yeah, I really was crazy/stupid/insane enough to load up 635 after I hit the 620. I couldn’t post it on youtube because I know some assclown somewhere would think that I was calling it a real Squat.

So for the entertainment of all, here is my 635 Power Curtsy. I would say I was about 16" shy of parallel. As soon as I started to Squat, my body screamed NNNOOOOOO! And for once I listened.

I think it was right about depth. Only the camera angle makes it look high. Damn internet judges!

Yeah the camera angle was looking up so obviously it’d be high.

I was there in person and the judges said it’s a good lift so it counts. Everyone knows you can’t judge depth on video. 'tards.

I’ve done that more times than I can remember when maxing. Something deep down just says, “you’ll die if you do this.” You probably won’t, but injuries suck.

Damn right brother! You had that all the way!

Ruggerlife, Hanley and Bunny, what are the chances that you guys could get certified to be USAPL judges in time for my next meet?

I think most of us have had that experience some times, lifting off a weight, and then reracking it, because everything tell us: “No way…”
