The AnimalPak Guy

It’s an add. That’s all it is. It’s not McGrath’s real life or his writing.

If those adds were true and if that is the true life of any bodybuilder then I feel incredibly sorry for that person.

I have been lifting and competing in bodybuilding and powerlifting for 25 years. The list of bodybuilders and powerlifters that I have trained with or just simply know is long, yet I don’t know any of them who have as miserble a life as depicted in those adds.

I find time to train, diet, etc… and have a life. married with three kids who play competitive soccer with travel, coaching my Daughters team and working full time as a Police officer. Plus all of the other day to day activities that life entails.

Just the same as all the other lifters I know.

Remeber, animalpak is a company trying to sell a product…and evidently a lifestyle consisting of being an obsessive/compulsive, lonely, miserable, pathetic person.

Please don’t be foolish enough to fall for that add.

Jeff

I don’t want Wraths lifestyle, but do find his log extremely motivational. It also serves my curiousity about what it truly takes to get on the top and helps set perspective to my own training and the challenges I have to overcome in order to build more stronger and healthier body.

It’s one of the texts I read whenever I feel like my drive is lost and I might skip a workout. Tells me to stop fucking around and get back on track.

Maybe the guy is self centered, but he is also doing a valuable service to those of us that aren’t naturally strong willed in this area of life.
