The Andrew Tate Case

You left out losing her job if she doesn’t. And in addition, never getting a job in the future, with anyone else.

Weinstein did not control Hollywood. They should’ve complained before eating his nuts.

Let me boil it down even more for the spectrum folks:

Person A has something Person B wants.

Person A offers to exchange it for something Person B views as reprehensible.

Person B does it anyways and gets the thing from Person A.

Who is morally lower?

You don’t know how Hollywood works. You should just stop being an apologist for a rapist.

They could’ve complained and made the same legal argument before sucking his dick.

They chose a cock in their throat for a role instead.

And you’re a Hollywood expert? I know what coercion is, and what willing participants are. Follow the bouncing ball…

No. It’s common knowledge how incestuous Hollywood is. Ever hear of blacklisting?

Do I want to know how you’ve arrived at this knowledge that sounds like it’s based on personal experience?

That’s right. And I disagree.

The person breaking their own morality is the worse of the two. Especially if they could make the same legal argument without doing the deed they oppose.

These women weren’t raped. They were whores selling their bodies for roles and money.

The few he did force himself on spoke out, as they should, and the whores jumped on the train to absolve themselves. Still whores pretending to be on the rape train (which he absolutely should be prosecuted for, separately).

We don’t all struggle with applying logic across various topics.

Maybe accurately guessing how many raindrops have fallen during a storm is a little more up your alley?

Sure. “Then person B acted like a victim in public after choosing to perform the action in return for what person B wanted, although the same complaint and legal defense could’ve been lodged without performing said action.”

Selective inference is an interesting passive aggressive tactic!

Hear me out…

It’s commong knowledge how incestuous Hollywood is, yet these women chose to go into this industry, then chose to take the quid pro quo and make millions.

They could have chosen to go to school or become a teacher or something, but they chose this - knowing that these risks are incredibly common.

Joe Rogan has a stand up bit about this.
Found it. It’s only a minute long.

Criminal code is codified morality, and subjective considering. Laws change all the time. For example, it used to be legal to beat your wife if she had an attitude.

I’m asking a question about morality. The law isn’t always right.

And rape isn’t a trade between willing participants.

You’re manipulating posts in to a context I’m not discussing. Not interested.

Spot on. I didn’t follow details. But didn’t one of these women go to Weinstein’s home or hotel room by her own volition?

Of course no woman deserves rape. None do! However the stupidity of some of these victims (if they are victims actually) is astounding.

Men choose to as well and some have probably fellated someone along the way. It’s funny how a discussion of women and morality ignores the fact that men compromise a lot of their values and morals to get ahead in life.

Rogan is the same guy who shilled for the UFC when he claimed Ronda Rousey could beat some of the men on the roster. She couldn’t beat me or most of the men who post at T Nation, let alone a professional fighter, Joe knew this but he followed the script he was given. What was his excuse? He needed the money?

Probably? Are there any guys in Hollywood who wouldn’t jump at the chance to take one in both ends? Maybe I remember the guys that were into acting and drama differently…

A 6 shooter wasn’t the only pistol John Wayne was slingin’.

I think the most notable case here is Dario Argentos’ daughter - Asia Argento - one of the earliest and most vocal #metoo faces - who was (voluntarily) in a sexual relationtionship with Weinstein. She fucked an underaged boy - Jimmy Bennett - who had played her son in a movie when he was like 7 or 8 years old and had Anthony Bourdain pay him hush money. For some reason, there wasn’t a big scandal about that.

She new him since he was seven. SEVEN. As a father of two boys, I find this more disgusting and repulsive than anything Weinstein ever did.

Except maybe a Russian soldier.

Several did.
It’s a fucked up predicament and I wish no women (or man) ever had to go through that. But some of them knew what was at stake and did what they thought was necessary to advance their careers .
