Genuine question: Don’t you think that if being a single mother was decentivised by doing away with Child Support, less women would seek to be single mothers? Perhaps it would even result in a lower divorce rate? I would imagine more women would choose caution if they held singular responsibility for their actions.
This is true, but socially we still end up blaming the man for pregnancy - even though his only option to prevent it is a condom while women have a litany of methods to prevent conception, many of which are subsidized (including abortion in more cases than it should be).
The blame would be 50/50 if contraceptives didn’t exist. I wouldn’t give it a number now, but the blame/responsibility is VERY much tilted in favor of women regarding reproductive options.
I agree, but this is also a self-imposed burden. She did choose to have sex (not getting into rape/incest cases, they are valid but not for this conversation), she had a large variety of birth controls at her disposal (including making the man wear a condom), and also has the option to abort later down the road (not that I agree with this, but again - a topic for another thread).
So YES, the burden lays on the mother for the first few years, but it is very much self-imposed with so many options to not be burdened by this. The man had one option, which was to use a condom; every other option/decision is out of his control.

You said it previously, men and women aren’t equal. This is a situation where the woman holds all the cards and the man needs to understand that before he does the deed. Similarly, if the baby is kept it’s the woman who is burdened.
People joke about serious things all the time. I figured you’d be against censoring joke material.
You know, you never mention the problems men do cause, or the choices that many men knowingly make that put them in bad situations. You dislike certain groups talking about how hard their lives are, but all you do is talk about how much men suffer. I legitimately feel like there’s been a noticeable uptick in your posts over time that is more and more pity party material for men. Have fun with that.
What’s interesting is that other white men will literally get angry when one says this. I likely have a fair share of white blood and am white presenting. My wife is white and even with trained eyes likely no one can tell my children have any trace of non-white in them. They’re both blonde, pale, and blue eyed. My daughter is platinum blond. So I don’t think it’s unreasonable for me to be on guard for this trend, knowing that it might become worse in the future.
Several posters, some who are active, some who went, have routinely bashed white people, being white themselves. One seriously money-motivated guy even said in other words that whites should absorb racial epithets to be knocked down a peg or two. I wonder if he, with his socioeconomic position would mind being knocked down a peg or two. He once said a million-dollar home was not a serious asset, even though that is a big deal for most Americans. Another time said, “There’s a deplorable in all of us,” implying he and other whites should learn lessons. So much for his empathy and modesty.
An interesting observation is that those who do such bashing get angry at someone for pointing out what they’re doing. 1. They bash white people. 2. Get mad at people who point out anti-white trends.

An alternative to both parties signing off on the abortion, how about financial abortion instead? Man doesn’t want baby, man doesn’t have to pay for it.
I don’t have any issue with that as long as it can be done officially in some form. It wouldn’t be good on a societal level, though.
Edit: Imagine a guy impregnating 100 girls, 50 of whom want to keep the baby. He officially signs that he isn’t going to support any of them
My moms side of the family had people that certainly were not white. They could even be mistaken for other Middle Easterners.
I haven’t gotten a DNA test yet but I’m certain if and when I do, it will show the result of nearly all Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jewish ancestry, and little to no European.
Jews(disclaimer: exception proves the rule) are white. Races have no meaning outside of what someone assigns based on appearance.

Curly hair and dark skin? Black or African American
Straight hair and squinty eyes(or dark skin)? Asian or Pacific Islander
Have family origins in the Pacific Islands? Asian or Pacific Islander
Darker-than-white and have family that was in America before Europeans? American Indian or Alaska Native

Or get a vasectomy or abstain or be more picky about where he sticks his penis or wait until he is married. All of this complaining about women wanting sex without consequences when we have men doing the same.
The irony is that the white people who once considered Jews other than white are the ones who are giving them the “privilege” of being considered white. With that privilege comes bearing the burden of the sin of white privilege. They did the same to Italians who were once not legally considered white.
Of course you have some groups who use the label POC to escape getting labeled as white even though some are whiter than Joe Biden. I know Jews and Italians who are darker than AOC but she can call herself a POC.
In short, classifying people by skin tone is meaningless. And it’s why I don’t blame any Jew for not referring to himself as white. Many Italians do the same.
If a man were to have sex with 100 women unprotected, and it was legal for him to NOT financially support any children/pregnancies he caused - how many of these women do you think would decide to have the child?
Now reverse the scenario. If he was required to financially support the child (and had the financial means of doing so), how many of these women do you think would decide to have the child?
That’s what welfare and WIC and tax payers are for. Seriously, deadbeat fathers aren’t stopping inner city and poor women and girls from making babies.
Look at any government form that asks race and see if Jewish is a choice. One way that privilege manifests itself is via college admissions and how certain groups all fall under white. Harvard wants more diversity? Weed out Asians and Jews. You need to understand that I am speaking sarcastically.
