Texas Warming

It is not hotter now than when you were a kid. You live in a dream world where only things in your present time register in your tiny brain.

It only feels hotter because you cant recall your childhood with the kind of clarity that you can feel with all 5 of your senses right now.

Also you are not as fat as a kid as you probably are now, so yeah you cant walk outside without sweating. Try some cardio, less cake.

You need to start researching before you claim that it is hotter now than when you were a kid. Oh and dallas hasnt seen any record numbers this year. ITS REALLY HOT HERE but nothing record breaking.

Look at this link it tells you the record highs for each year for Dallas. Guess what, the hottest year on record is in 1956. 109 Degrees. Wow im sure they thought they were experiencing global warming back then too.

you can also find other useful information at that link that will lead to the conclusion that you dont know what the F*ck you are talking about.
So now i guess the question becomes, do you prefer it hot or cold?

I personally prefer the one where you can take your shirt off at night and NOT freeze to death.
Heat is the #1 natural killer in this country. You hear of very few people freezing to death, but hundreds of elderly die every year from heat stress. Also, you can always wear more clothes, but can only strip down so far.

Still I prefer heat to cold. Luckily, we here in Michigan have both extremes, some subzero days in the winter and some 98 degree 98% humidity days in the summer.
The old have to die at some point

What the fuck? The temp is supposed to hit over 102 degrees today in Houston.

I mean…what happens if there is global warming and you fuckers don’t do shit until we get microwaved off this rock?!
Doesn’t matter what any of us “believe”, facts are facts… While we don’t know all the physics, enough is known to say that it is going to get much warmer and even more weirder within our lifetimes.

Methane concentrations are increasing.
The peat bogs are burning.
Record coral bleaching.
Arctic melting off.
Record highs persistently exceed record lows.
Lower PH in the Oceans.

It is thought there is some lag due to things like thermal mass of the Oceans, or albedo changes due to melt off of snow ice cover and vegetation changes in tundra…

Worse case is probably the “Under a Green Sky” theory of the PT extinction. Currently known feed backs can get us with margin of error to that range.

I just came back from Dubai, 117 - 122 out there at the moment, around 104 at night. Coming from 65 - 70 in the U.K that felt hot.

32 C here in Houston right now and with 58% humidity. GREAT SUCCESS!

Ya know,I cant believe people have the audacity to complain to me about heat when I was in NYC. It was fucking perfect with the breeze blowing and everything,

It’s Texas, it’s summer, it’s SUPPOSED to be hot, either adapt or leave.

102 here at lunch, lower humidity today.
