The team that beat the crap out of my son’s team in the semi’s just beat won their second 6-man state championship today.
And they beat the other team in the finals worse than they beat us.
East TX is representing strong in championships:
4A Div I: Longview (13-2) vs. Lake Travis (15-0)
4A Div II: Sulphur Springs (13-2) vs. Dayton (13-1)
3A Div II: Celina (12-3) vs. Carthage (13-2)
2A Div I: Cisco (14-1) vs. Daingerfield (14-1)
1A Div I: Stratford (13-1) vs. Cayuga (13-2)
Both divisions of Class 1A can be won by teams in the same district.
Canadian won the Division I Championship yesterday, and Stratford is in the Division II finals next week.
Bot schools are out of the same district.

Yeah,I noticed West TX had a strong showing this year as well.

Well Carthage beat Celina for 3A Div II Championship in the last HS game to be played in Texas Stadium. Didn’t realize they are tearing it down.
