A study of 24,000 Medicare patients found that testosterone therapy didn’t increase the risk of heart attack, contrary to several earlier studies, and that it even lowered the risk of heart attack by about 30% in the group of men judged most likely to have one based on other factors.

The findings are a boost for proponents of testosterone therapy, but still aren’t likely to settle the long-standing debate over testosterone safety any…

I read the whole article in print. What is interesting is that all of the TV adverts looking for testosterone linked heart attacks stopped when this article came out. So those lawyers spent all that money and now do not have a case. So as a group, the lawyers do not believe that they can [profitably] convince a jury that TRT involves and cardiovascular risks. That is the collective vote of the lawyers… for now.

Now just think about what this means. We know that most management of TRT is horrible. So if you extrapolate this to men who have E2 properly managed, the benefits will be larger. Why? We know that higher E2 levels promote insulin resistance, diabetes and endothelial dysfunction aka heart/artery disease. We see reports here all of the time about doc’s been horrified of E2 testing and management. As soon as they see complexity, they run and hide.

Fantastic, finally someone did a proper test/study. They have figured out what we already know.

We need a study I’m of guys who have their TRT properly managed…
