LOL some of you are hilarious. Just have to contradict anything even if it’s common sense. You changed the meaning of a word used on this site since the beginning. I don’t think I made it up.
And the Tom Brady thing is just dumb. No one is an alpha at EVERYTHING.
We know it’s not necessarily the guys with the biggest muscles that women are after. So what is it?
Depends. Some are into muscle others are not. Confidence seems to be a big factor, and muscle or testosterone may or may not give you that. I’m a nervous wreck even on test.
That’s fine most people believe that the only thing that matters is on the surface. How you act, how you look. While those are a factor I don’t believe it’s the total picture. Hormones matter. No giving someone testosterone does not guarantee they will become a ladies man I never said that. But there are no ladies men who have low T. There’s a reason criminals rarely can’t get a woman.
I already told the story in this thread. My friend was an alpha in his 20s, now despite being rich in his late 30s he’s not. There’s a reason men in their 40s aren’t usually banging chicks in their 20s, and a lot of wives leave their husbands because they become unhappy. Hormones hormones hormones. Again it’s not the only factor, but it is a factor.
Gentlemen,
Take a step outside the gym and look around. There are any number of men who are not “alpha” by any means who are doing fine with women. Sometimes lifters get so focused on meathead subculture that we lose perspective. Women like fit, self-confident men, but 99% couldn’t care less if you can bench 185 or 405. Along the same lines, women like men who are financially independent, but most don’t care if you drive a Toyota or a Ferrari (seriously, what do you think when you see a guy in a Ferrari? Exactly - insecure and overcompensating). When a guy has problems finding a woman, I tend to think that it’s almost never low t-levels or that he isn’t “alpha.”
I never said you had to be an alpha to get a chick.
But if you’re low testosterone you’re not going to be getting any kind of hot chick. Maybe a 3 or 4 out of 10 at best or a fatty. My claim about testosterone has nothing to do with lifting weights at all. There are men who have never been to the gym and do fine with women, but I can bet you their testosterone levels are not at the bottom of the barrel.
Marriages of decades end because men lose their testosterone. You tend to think wrong.
I lived it I know what I’m talking about while you’re guessing. When I had low test I asked my Urologist about it his job is to know about testosterone and I said is it bad to have low test as far as dying he said “no, but you will have trouble with women like have arguments if you’re in a relationship and if you’re not in one it may be more difficult to get in one”
Why do you think your early 20s are considered your prime?
And you didn’t read the thread because you made the claim “women like men who are financially independent” I have explained twice now I have a friend that’s worth almost a million and can’t get a chick other than fatties and he is tall and skinny. I knew him when he was in his 20s and chicks would ask him out. Now it’s changed.
Testosterone effects your personality, your manliness, your sex drive EVERYTHING.
You are on a site called T-nation what does the T stand for? What does lifting weights boost?
It’s not entirely clear why testosterone-fuelled features are attractive, but some experts have proposed that they’re a sign of a healthy immune system. Testosterone dampens immune function, so a man with high testosterone who’s still standing, the theory goes, is likely to have a stronger-than-average constitution. And he’ll pass those hardy genes on to his offspring, making him an attractive mate choice.
And you may not even realize it but those features will line up easier with a man who has normal or high testosterone vs. a man who has low testosterone.
All things being equal let’s say there’s identical twins one with low test one with high test. You would go for the one with high test without even having to realize what their test levels are. It obviously wouldn’t be that one looked better than the other either.
20s are going to be your physical prime but not for all physical qualities (eg strength) but if your 20s, particularly early 20s, are your prime overall then you have royally fucked up.
I had a great 20s but I look at my life then compared to now and back then was a joke. It’s barely comparable (and I probably have lower test now lol)
I’m not talking about prime as far as success in life this thread isn’t about your overall life so I didn’t think I had to clarify that but I guess for you I do, it’s about success with women. Usually a guy will have your prime success with women as far as sexual encounters in your 20s then settle down and get married in your 30s. Not everybody but it’s very common.
I find it entertaining reading advice on what girls like from 39 year old guys who can’t get girls but can google “studies” and also know someone who is no longer 20. Makes far more sense than listening to some of the actual women who took their time to contribute to the thread, what would they know?
What about fame, money, power, a stable career/source of income, facial aesthetics, a good sense of humour, humility… To focus on some bullshit as arbitrary as hormonal parameters is absurd. I’ve had exogenously introduced T concentrations above your 800 ng/DL, by your narrative I should have women flocking to me, ditching their SO’s and asking to mate with me due to my superior tEsToStErOnE levels.
That’s not how it works. Plenty of men with low T have adequate/only slightly stunted libidos. Plenty with low T can maintain an erection and fuck normally. Aside from teenage girls and immature young adults, women will probably take preference over a grown ass man who has his shit together as opposed to a guy who has “high test levels and nice biceps” but a derogatory attitude towards women and a penchant for starting shit (i.e immaturity).
What’s more, when looking at the pharmacodynamics of endogenously produced testosterone it is virtually indistinguishable from that of exogenously introduced T. The only real differences are
isotopic signatures via natty/exogenously introduced T
esters dictating the rate of release
you can abuse the fuck out of synthetic testosterone, you can’t jack up endogenous production to 50x that of baseline production.
