Testing for Gynecomastia

Has anyone ever had any testing for Gyno? I felt some ‘nodule’ type things on the side of my nipple/pec and didn’t know if it was just regular tissue or gyno. I was pressing around there and got some soreness from my poking and prodding. My endocrinologist checked it out and said it was most likely breast tissue but gave me a script for a mammogram to see. I’m a guy so it seems really weird walking into someplace and getting a mammogram. Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks

I had a mammogram when i suspected gyno.
It’s a bit embarrassing but what ev.

FYI…. I have no nipple sensitivity and nothing under the nipple, just on the outer edge of the Pec.

I’ve had a pee size lump under my left breast since puberty. When I started getting nipple sensitivity on injections, I had forgotten and panicked.

Yep, had a mammogram when my doctor noticed the tissue growth. Wanted to rule out breast cancer.

Being the only guy in there that day was not pleasant …

Same here brother. It happened before starting TRT when I was secondary hypo. Felt out of place for sure. But TRT fixed my hormone imbalance and the growth shrank to unnoticeable, even to touch, and the pain went away as well.

Yeah and why are the nurses there the hottest girls in medicine too? Or maybe they gave me her on purpose lol

Agreed. When i had my vasectomy i had the doctor and two nurses in the room. Both nurses were hot as hell and one of them was holding my penis the entire time. Talk about embarrassing.

Haha yep. This girl was telling me to stand still while holding my boob in the machine.

She said it was easier cos i had more muscle, but i think she was just trying to be nice

I got the mammogram. Was awkward. It revealed I have something called a lipoma. Apparently it’s usually genetic and something that can develop between from age 40 up to 60. So it’s not Gynecomastia. I may need to get a sonogram to make sure it’s not a cancer.
