Testicular Retraction, E2 and More

Hi,

I’ve been searching these forums and online in search of high E2 signs and one sign that was interesting is retracted/uptight testicles.

@systemlord had a goodly share of posts mentioning this symptom and he has hit the nail in the head.

I have observed via lowering estradiol that when mood, libido, energy and well being is optimal my testes hang much lower rather than frequently being uptight (uptight even when body temp is warm).

I have a few more questions regarding E2 though:

1). Do the testes hang when E2 is low ?

2). One of the symptoms of low E2 is “strong erections but limited sensitivity”. Please explain this it makes no sense to me. Low E2 usually means you can’t even get it up, right ?

Many thanks.

That seems to be pretty common. I don’t know why, but is a pretty common complaint with low e2

Low E2 isn’t a hardline in the sand. There is a zone. Optimal E2, everything is great. A bit lower…good erections, but orgasms and sensitivity not as good. ‘Crashed’ E2, nothing going on.

Not if you’re on the very edge of the low E2 set point at which you start losing erection quality, losing the sensitivity is only the first stage of losing erectile quality.

Things are not so black and white.

@systemlord I have a final question regarding testicle hang and E2. When you state that high E2 makes them pulled up tight, do you mean it’s pulled up all the way to the extent where the testes aren’t even visible ?

The hanging can vary for me. When I’m cold, they pull all the way up and only the penis is visible. Is that what high E2 does ?

I’d be grateful if you can clarify this.

If the E2 is high enough, but I noticed high blood pressure also causes my testicles to shrink.

Hi,

As mentioned on the title, I’ve noticed that my testicles are tight in the morning but loose and low hanging at night. Even if I take a warm bath in the morning, they still don’t hang low but at night they do.

Is this normal ?

Does this happen to anyone ?
