Yes. I believe clomid should be renamed to ālibido killer and emotional little girl makerā. At least that is what it did to me.
Hmm, thinking to drop the dose of the clomid then to 25mg ED and keep nolva at 40mg.
I was feeling fine on nolva, after starting clomid (2 days ago) I feel like crap and erections are gone. This could be a consequence of the clomid or the lack of AAS in the blood (although this should have presented earlier IMO from the prop esters as I have been off 2 weeks now).
Feeling absolutely shit today.

Itās the clomid. A lot of people notice estrogen-like side effects while on clomid. Are you going to run the nolva the standard 40/40/20/20?
I was going to run the nolva 40mg until I feel I could drop it to 20mg, which could be from 2 weeks to 6 weeks I cant say.
I was going to run the nolva at 20mg for another month or so until blood levels of T were high enough then taper off it.

Currently running 25mg Clomid ED and 40mg Nolva ED.
Feeling MUCH MUCH better compared to past two days. Definetly was the clomid.
Interestingly, while I was on high dose clomid I actually felt as though my testes were shrinking, and now that Ive dropped the dose they are feeling firm once again. Hmmm.

i never run more than 50 mg clomid EDā¦because of the sides you mentioned. but for me at least, clomid is a must, as nolva doesn`t seem to do anything for me recovery wise. clomid and nolva together works nicely, at least feeling wise. 25 and 20-40 is all you need now that you did high dose clomid for a bit.

What kind of sides do you get at higher doses? can you relate to the testicular atrophy while on clomid? I cant seem to figure out an explanation for this. Overstimulation of the testes perhaps?
And yes I am going to stick to the 25/40 for a while. Going for bloods next week, hoping to see elevated levels of LH/FSH, possibly Test also but thats a bonus.

i used to do the old school clomid frontload and ran up to 100 mg ED the first weekā¦needless to say it made me feel like an irritable bitch with PMS most days, and others i was easily emotional. 50 works fine for me (25 is perfect after a couple weeks), and i do notice a lag time for teste response, and a general dip in libido. The response gets better, but i generally feel like shit libido wise when on clomid. It is there, and doesnt bottom out, but a general lack of interest takes over....like jessica biel or some hot as fuck bikini competitor could walk in buck nekkid and id be like meh, whatever 8 times out of 10 when on clomid, instead of blasting the fuck outta her instantly when on, or normal. I`m sure others know the feeling.
Ok since cessation of high-dose clomid my morning wood is back and so is libido and energy.
Still on 25mg/40mg ED Clomid/Nolva and feeling great.
No depression, no aggression, no mood swings.
Only thing ive noticed is if I lie on my bed before im about to go gym I sometimes cant be bothered to get up and go. Just being a lazy bastard. Lol. Just a minor observation but thats just nit-picking.
Still havent had to touch the Trip.

Here is a quote I found from a study while I was revising from my Endocrine exam, I think it would be interesting to you guys.
āDuring chronic clomiphene therapy, neither T nor E when given in doses equal to twice their mean production rate in normal men, nor the nonaromatizable androgens, dihydrotestosterone and fluoxymesterone, in dosages equipotent to the infused T suppressed serum Lh or Fsh levels or altering the responses of Lh and Fsh to Lrh administration.ā (Winters et al., 1979).
While using Clomid AND exogenous T (or a DHT-derivative), LH and FSH levels were not suppressed. This was with the use of DOUBLE the normal production of the subject. Interesting, this supports the taper protocol even more IMO.

How long did they administer the exogenous T? So, in effect, this means that one can stay on at least his double normal test level, and by taking clomiphene, he will keep his lh and fsh levels normal. Too good to be true, LOL.
It does not say how long they administered T WITH Clomiphene as my institution does not have full access to the article. Though it does state T was administered for 4 days WITHOUT Clomiphene and saw a reduction of LH by 40%, reduction of 60% with E and 35% with DHT. So suppression wise it looks like this E>T>DHT, Dht being the least suppressive.
In theory, yes it looks like one can stay on double the natural output of his OWN T production and see no suppression (although a long-term study for this is warranted).
The dose of Clomid was not mentioned in the abstract either.

Blood tested today, should have the results in around 2 weeks.
