Anyone here using test prop for trt? If so what gauge needle are you using? I’ve read that insulin needles are possible. Not afraid of the 22s I use now for enanthate but if I can cut down on the size of the hole, scar tissue/muscle trauma I will.
Well I came across something that made a little sense to me. Not sure of it yet but he claims test levels remain more constant injecting prop everyday in a similar fashion to when our bodies produced test everyday.
Obviously our bodies naturally still would have produced slightly different amounts each day but there was never a spike and then a gradual decline like there is with long esters.
I thought it was interesting. I already use growth everyday so pinning ed is not s big deal. However I wouldn’t want to pin 22s ed for the rest of my life.
It makes sense to me but was wondering what you all thought in terms of needle size. What do you think of his theory?
I was wondering if you pin ED what would be the difference between propionate and cypionate? I know doctors who even for ED recommend cypionate much stronger, there must be a reason but I cannot logically get it
You could use 27g 1/2inch needles without difficulty. Injecting every day may require a slightly higher dose to get you to whatever your desired level is due to its shorter half-life.
I would think injecting smaller doses of prop daily would cause less spikes than a less frequent injection schedule but more spikes than doing smaller daily doses of a longer acting ester. That said, half the people here think me injecting cypionate daily is full of shit and makes no sense (me included) but it works so in the end who cares. Good luck and keep the thread updated with how it goes.
Well, I think once the long ester or short esters get in the system long enough on a daily schedule I think spikes wouldn’t take place but with prop, you get more test per mg and not have to use a larger needle to inject. That, to me, is why I would choose prop over enan/cyp if there is an advantage to keep levels sustained vs having peaks and valleys with longer esters on less frequent injections. But again…not sure it matters that much.
I might run prop for 8 weeks on an ED schedule with the same mg for mg of raw test basis to see if there’s a difference. I know the raw test will still be somewhat estimated, but at least it’ll be close.
There is also this idea of less estrogen conversion from not spiking your system with a large dose. Idk at what dosage the body would try to convert some to estrogen but this is supposed to help negate that. Of course everyone’s body is different in the way it would convert test to estrogen. But those who are susceptible to higher estrogen levels this method might be a benefit to them
I use a 1cc insulin syringe with a 30g 1/2 inch needle. It’s so small you can’t feel it. That’s with T cypionate doing IM delt injections. I think you’re misinformed.
On daily injections my total T is 1999 and E2 is 77.
I’ve always used 22 ga. I run hgh so I have 29 ga insulin syringes. I was curious if it was possible to run prop thru insulin needles since it uses thinner oil. Never imagined cyp or enan would make it thru without taking forever.
What oil does your cyp have? Mine has cottonseed and I would never be able to load in 7 seconds. It takes me a couple minutes at least, and haven’t been able to figure out a way to go any faster.
Yeah I’ve tried that (as long as five minutes). Even have been placing the bottle a few feet from a hair dryer on low and rotating around until it was warm. Nothing has worked for me. Was thinking grape seed may be thinner, but from what I looked up does not seem to be the case so not sure why I am struggling.
I started with 30 gauge, and it took about 5 minutes to fill and inject 50 mg of 200 mg/mL test C. I am impatient and switched to 27 gauge. I can’t tell a difference in pain or force to inject, but I can sure tell the difference in fill time (about 15 seconds).
One thing I have been thinking about is why prop is not used for beginner cycles. Sure it is more injections (but if you are afraid of the needle you shouldn’t cycle anyways, IMO), but the cycle could be shorter making shutdown recovery easier. Anyone have any points as to why this should not be recommended?
Good to know. Thought about switching when I run out so may just do that. That or buy some lower gauge to back fill. I might do that anyways though because there are times I feel that I dulled the needle when I drew. Most I don’t even feel, then all of a sudden I’m saying “WTF that SOB stung” and they seem harder to break the skin when that happens.
