Test Headaches?

This is my first cycle of test cypionate 250. I,m getting bad headaches during sex and during a intense workout. They seem to hang around like a hangover. Any ideas?

I’m 42, 180lbs, 5’11". I’m doing 1cc twice per week and I am in my second week. I drink more than a gallon of water per day. I also eat clean and take in at least 250 grams of protien per day. I also picked up some Tamoxifen. I have taken that yet as I was told to take at the end of my cycle. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Oh and checked BP this morning, 127/87.

Are you taking an AI?

Immediate thought would be that you aren’t taking an AI and you are getting estrogen related headaches.

I am not. I was told to take it after.

Should I be taking the tamoxifen?

No, you need an AI. Thats a SERM. SERM is for PCT as you’ve been told. Get some Arimidex ASAP. .5mg EOD. This stops the aromatization to estrogen and should always be taken with test. Then you taper off the AI at the end of cycle and into your PCT. The two products do completely different things and both have their place in your cycle.

If you aren’t taking an AI you probably have high estrogen which has many side affects but headaches and gyno are both possibilities. You don’t wan’t estrogen migraines or boobies so get on some Arimidex asap. Even if this isn’t the cause of the headaches you still need the AI.

How much should I take?

.5mg EOD It will come in 1mg pills. You can adjust your dose as needed but .5 EOD is the basic dose. If you are getting “sandy joints” its too much. If you are feeling bloated and bitchy (like a woman) it’s not enough. I personally need 1mg EOD or I don’t feel well.

Could be blood pressure. Test increases my blood pressure significantly and has given me insane head aches or nose bleeds suggest getting it checked.

My first thought but he put his bp in the post.

never done a cycle but learning a lot from walkway. good stuff to know for when i’m late 40s

anyway why wouldn’t you run ai? even if you aren’t feeling estrogen sides, you realize some of your gear is being converted to estrogen without it? complete waste. or am i missing something…

I am just as curious as you are

Yeah, doesn’t make sense to me either. I’ve seen people in other forums say “don’t use the AI unless you need it”. What the fuck? Of course you need it. I just think it’s terrible advice.

Tried running it once took alot bloat away lost alot potential strength from it. Have no science to back it up and could care less I get more out of my cycles with out the use of a AI. Bash me all you want blood work is fine and have no negative sides other than bloat it works for me so what the fuck is the problem.

nevermind the fact that estrogen is extremely carcinogenic lmao

…honestly Reed I don’t mind you not using an Ai, you appear to have the intellect of a coffee mug… but please don’t continue advising others to follow your insanely foolish practice

Testosterone is also a suspected carcinogen. It was found to cause cancer in lab rats. Not to invalidate the point you are trying to make.

It defies logic to believe you would be better off abstaining from AI use. But maybe you are that one anomaly.

All NEW guys to steroid forum should… MUST read STICKIES / STICKY NOTES.

They are the first lines of information in both the STEROID and also Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) sections and have the small yellow “3M post it notes” or STICKY NOTES icon next to them.

Tamoxifen is not an aromatase inhibitor (AI) It is a SERM / estrogen antagonist which exhibits only short-term effects.

Testosterone converts into estrogen. Men do not want that. An AI prevents this.

If you want man tits, lactation, depression and general ruining of your hormones please inject yourself before having a command of this information.

Good Luck. We hear women love guys with leaky enlarged nipples from taking testosterone without an aromatase inhibitor (AI)

iirc, it’s the conversion of testosterone to dht via the 5-alpha reductase enzyme coupled with high estrogen levels that cause cancer in men such as prostate cancer…
