What’s up everyone. Okay, I’m 38 years old and 6’5 270 lbs 12%bf and 16 weeks out from my first physique show. I have always eaten dirty yet maintaining a good protein intake. Done gear on and off for the last 10 years. Training and sleep have always been in check, and I hired a coach to help me with my diet.
Need help with my gear regimen leading up to the show. I currently have on hand Anavar, Test Prop, Mast Prop, Tren Ace and winny, and I have quick access to any gear I need to get the job done. I need help from one of the vets to formulate a 16 week pre contest cycle.
Please no opinions if you have not prepped for a show, or have not done a certain type of gear but you think you know what you are talking about. I want to hear from someone who has traveled the road. I’m serious about this comp, and need to get from 12% to under 5% without loosing much muscle. I’d really appreciate the help.
I know this isn’t the response you were looking for, but I have to ask… You’re pretty fucking huge. Why physique and not bodybuilding? I’m also surprised you’re shooting for sub-5% bodyfat. That’s bodybuilder-lean, and I’ve seen shows where that level of leanness was held against competitors. Again, sorry I don’t have any advice, but I’m sure someone with better experience than me will chime in.
Test, Tren, and Mast will harden and cut you the fuck up. Var would be the icing on the cake, but I wouldn’t recommend running compounds right up to your show. Just due to bloating, I would cut everything out at least 4 weeks in advance (even 6).
Like Flip said, 5% is crazy low for physique. In most rulebooks, it says that points will be deducted if you come in too lean; just be wary of that.

I would consider looking into dyazide as well, talk to your coach about it. He will also have you adjust clen and t3 as you progress… though if you are actually 12% and 16 weeks out…you are ahead and schedule and it should be a reasonably easy prep.
if you can get GH, I would advise 4-5iu of Rips first thing in the AM
Walkaway gave you a nice little setup but I would personally drop Test 2 weeks out. Not use any Test base period or if accessible Suspension. I’ve used Test Acetate and still felt like water could’ve been handled a little better. Some people react better to slowly bringing down the Test dose as they get closer to the show.
Also I like Anadrol the week of. Keeps me looking pretty full when I’m in a carb depleted state. 25-50mg is more than suitable depending on how you react cause I’ve heard of some bloat at this dose. I react very well to it so I hit 50mgs.
I’d also run EQ at a gram all the way through. Nothing beats that sick and twisted veiny look. Again you must know how you react to the drug before using it on competition week. Only downfall is the hunger but if you can control it go for it.
I don’t know why he considered letro so early but he might know something I don’t. I’ve always preferred to use it 3 weeks out at 2.5g ED. The sides are just unbearable to be taking so early on. I start with Nolva really early(20 weeks out), then switch to Arimidex(12 weeks out) and then letro 3 weeks out. Just how I do things.
I’ve heard much about GH during prep but have no experience so can’t speak on it’s behalf. Good luck!
