Try applying some heat to the area. I always find I get more discomfort with quad injections than I do with glute injections. There has also been a study that showed that IM injections are more effective if injected in the dorsogluteal site.

mhh thanks but i do that already (heat and massage) just before/after the IM.
the “problem” arise some hours (~8) after the IM…
? what does it means? that in that area the drugs will be more effective? more powerfull?
i can’t do IM in the dorsogluteal site, cause i can’t see what i’m doing and if i get some blood trace
(i’m almost blind… ehm… i have a “weird” field of vision :P…)

I’ve been searching the internet for the research paper about this, but with no luck. As soon as i find it i’ll post it.

if i remember right the study you are referring to was discussed here in an old strasseroids column back in the day. It also spoke of higher concentration preparations etc.
I had a lot of soreness with prop and aside from the heat and massage make sure you shoot it in the AM. I was shooting before bed and WOW was I sore the next morning.
By dumb luck I figured this out, and even tho it was still sore hours after inj. no where near as bad as at night.

This is probably caused by the BA and BB leaching out from the injection site, leaving crystals of testosterone enanthate behind which then irritate the muscle.[/quote]
mhh, how can i prevent that?
i stick the needle almost completely in the muscle, and i don’t feel any pain ore soreness during the IM…
however it’s nota problema at all… now that i know that nothing weird follow the soreness… (you know… the net is filled with terrific and horror story of permanent muscle damage… shit… ;)…)
hey guys i took a test enanthate shot two days ago in my glutes 300mg/ml and i had no soreness at the time or their after… so i did squats right after injection and now two days later its really sore not red, a little tender but i cant sit on the side i took it… i wanted to know is it always gonna be this painful?
