To start off, I’m 22 years old, 6 ft, 205 lbs, around 12-14 percent bf. Diet is good.
I realize that I’m going to be doing a cycle at a considerably young age, but honestly I’ve hit a plateau that I just can’t seem to break and really want to make some quality gains.
Now on to the cycle: Wk 1-10: 500mg Test e per week; Wk 1-10: 250mg Deca per week; Wk 1-5 40mg Turan per day; and using 0.5 mg Anastrozole per day during the whole cycle plus 4 weeks post cycle
For PCT:
Clomid 50/50/25/25
Nolva 20/20/20/20
Through some research and other websites, I’ve seen it is highly recommended to just run test your first cycle. I’ve also seen numerous posts saying running deca your first cycle is a no-go and should be saved for a later cycle. However, I don’t plan on doing another cycle anytime soon after this one, maybe never or at least until I’m a few years older. I also already have the deca.
So I guess my first question would be, does the deca have that dramatic of an effect in gains or should I scrap it to have an overall safe first cycle? And if I should scrap it, should my PCT change as well? I really wish to put on a good 20 lbs with this and I am absolutely going to work my ass off for these couple months in diet and training.
I also wanted to see if you guys think my PCT is sufficient, should I also run HCG as well? Any other AI’s along with the anastrozole?
I would appreciate any and all advice given, whether helpful or not.
Most are going to tell you to drop the Deca since its your first cycle. However im going to tell you to either double the dose or drop it. Deca is hard to recover from for many so take it into consideration. Also if you were about to say well I know its hard on your body to come off deca that’s why I was running such a low dose. 250mg is enough to completely shit you down and shut you down hard. So if you going to run it no matter what atleast make it worth it.

I don’t have enough to double the dosage for the entire period so I guess I’m just going to drop it completely even though it will be a waste of money. But hey I’d rather have a safe cycle with less gains than fuck up my body. Should I keep PCT the same then?
Training I’ve been going pretty good for 2 years or so minus a little hickup about a year ago because I broke my hand. I used to be a runner and I’d say I weighed around 165-170 back then so I’ve put on a good 30 lbs in these couple years. I know my current routine is going to need to change once I start though. For the past 5 months or so I’ve been training Chest/Tris Mon, Back/Bis Tues, Rest Wed, Shoulders/Traps Thurs, Legs Fri, Rest weekend with little to no cardio. Don’t want to get fully into the workouts but I’ve been doing 3-4 sets, 6-10 reps each exercise with a burnout 25 rep after as well.
Are there any routines you particularly recommend while cycling?
No all depends on your goals man and there is no rule that says you have to change your routine or diet while on gear. Think of it this way if its not broken then do not try to fix it. When on gear its only going to work even better so screwing around with what you know works could actually set you back.
As for the Deca being a waste no its not just hold on to it. If I had a hundred dollars for everytime I heard some say I will only run thus cycle, I won’t run another cycle for along, or something along those lines and then actually stick to that I would have 0 ZERO NONE AT ALL DOLLARS. You will love the Test only its a huge kicker and depending on diet and training 15-20lbs is very possible.
Thanks a lot for your help guys. Also I’ve been looking into adding HCG into my cycle as well since I’m doing this at a relatively young age and I heard it will help to maintain my hpta and natural test levels, is this a no-brainer?
