Hello, I’m new to the forum. I’ve been lifting for about 5-6 years. Prior to that I spent a few years doing a ton of cardio and learning nutrition . Over the last year or so I’ve been reading a lot about steroid use, but mostly online, and mostly in forums. I’ve found a source, and decided to finally go for it. I was wondering if anyone could comment on my cycle. I’m 5’10" and 170 pounds, around 14% body fat.
I have to use what I have access to from my source, obviously, but I am mostly concerned about the PCT, I’ve read a lot of conflicting articles online -especially going forum to forum. However, this forum seems to me to be the most reliable. Here is what I have so far:
Week 1-10: Test E - 400 mg/week
Week 1-8: Deca Durabolin - 200 mg/week
For PCT I have access to Clomid, HCG, and Nolvadex. Also, I do have access to Dianabol to use instead of the Deca, and I realize a lot of people would recommend just doing test for my first cycle. For the PCT I am unsure of the quantities I should take, or if I should take any of these during my cycle.
I will begin the PCT 2-3 weeks after the cycle ends. I’ve found a lot of answers but they all seem to be conflicting from site to site. Any clarification would be helpful.
What’s your diet like? A test/deca cycle would indicate you want mass. Why aren’t you bigger than 5’10 170 to begin with?
Diet is fine, 40% protein, 3000+ calories a day. I’m a hard gainer.

Not sure how to answer that one.
5’10 170 ~14% bodyfat is quite underdeveloped. Your diet is obviously not fine. If you can’t get above 170 on 3000 cals than 3000 calories isn’t enough. If you can’t gain weight without gaining predominantly fat in your current state than your diet is not what you think it is. Seriously ~147lbs of lean mass on a 5’10 frame is not even close to a good starting point.
How old are you?
Hard gainer? Come on. You’ve clearly done your research regarding AAS use, have you done the same with nutrition?
Be more specific than “diet is fine.” Post everything you eat for the next 3 days. Chances are unless you track calories, you’re not getting that much. Hell, even if you are eating 3000 calories per day, then you just need to eat more to gain weight.
At 5’10, I would try to gain another 15 lbs, at least, before you use steroids. Just my opinion, though.

29 years old, been lifting since 2004/05-ish. The 14% body fat may not be accurate, it’s measured using an omron monitor, which is skeptical at best. I do have a six pack, so perhaps 14% isn’t correct.

I do currently have a six pack, and have had for some time. Yes, I track calories, I’ve keep a diet journal dating back to 2006. Six meals a day, 40/40/20 macro nutrient, and 3000 calories is a base, anything over that is for bulking. When I bulk I go up to 4000 calories, when I cut I go to 2500 as I have no interest in loosing muscle.
Use steroids if you desire but I would recommend replacing the deca with dbol if you have to use 2 drugs.
If you have a 6 pack what’s prevented you from eating more to gain weight? If you gain weight on steroids then go back to your current diet that has you maintaining 170lbs you will lose a lot of the gains. It is in your best interest to learn how to eat for mass before wasting time and money on steroids.
Serious question: What’s your goal for this cycle?

When I finish doing a cut cycle, I have a six pack. Then I bulk to gain weight (by eating more). At the end of that the body fat percentage is lower, however, like I said previously, I’m sure my body fat monitor isn’t accurate, it will however show me if the body fat is going up or down. Using measuring tape, I’ve made gains. I just don’t have a pair of calipers.
If I switched to dbol, should I stop it before finishing the test e? Or am I better of dropping the 2nd, and just using test e for the first cycle?
A test only cycle would be fine for a first go round. Dbol would add to it but you are sure to see substantial gains from 400mg T as long as you eat enough to grow.
If I do a test only cycle, what would you recommend for PCT? Do I need HCG if I am using Nova and Clomid?
Nolvadex for PCT
HCG is to be used on cycle if you choose to use it. Please do a search on it.
I would keep the deca and use it if you already have it… It will help your joints out a lot while you are on cycle; remember, your joints have to keep up with mass and strength gains or you may have joint issues by end of cycle and beyond… If you can, bump the test up to 500mg per wk… HCG isn’t necessary per say, but it is really helpful for a quicker recovery. I would say it to be NECESSARY at 14 weeks plus and wanted at 10-12 weeks…

Thanks, I’m going with just test e for the first cycle, 500mg/week, 10 weeks. I have dianabol, but won’t be using it. I want to keep it simple for a first cycle.
