I have a prescription for Test cyponate from my doctor. It is a 200 mg bottle. My dosage is .5 cc per week. I am then to take 1 tab of arimidex each week also.
My question is, how can I adjust this to make it work better for me for growth?
I am 58 years old and I have been training for nearly 40 plus years.
At 58yrs old 200mg / week is a VERY high TRT dose
You should have high enough test levels to grow quite nicely. IF you put your focus on diet, diet, diet and intense training, INTENSE training and proper recovery, proper recovery, sleep and stress management you will be surprised at how you can transform
Make sure to split your injections to twice a week tho. One shot of Test Cyp a week is far inferior to 2 shots of 100mg / week
Also be sure to monitor your Estrogen levels too
You DON’T want to mess with TRT early in the game. Once you understand your bloods and the how often you’ll be monitored you’ll better understand what you can get away with without causing suspicion from your Dr. Chances are you’ll be doing plenty of bloodwork the 1st year followed by just once in awhile. THEN you can experiment with mini blasts and have time to normalize yourself before having to do a maintenance check-up

Really? I bet it puts his TT around 800.
Really? Test Cyp. is a slow ester. There will be a steadier dose if split but 1x a week is not “Far Inferior”.

Could he not do a short oral cycle on top of this trt and get some good results and still have 4-8 weeks for his bloods to normalize?

Definitely a decent option, age might be a concern on this one though. Have you turned to the darkside Paulie?

no, I haven’t. Just lurking and seeing what people are doing on this side these days.

I could be wrong but I believe anyone suffering low T will really enjoy life at 800 TT and that amount in the system is plenty to grow off of. I think the biggest key is to growing is having TT in the high range of normal combined with adopting a strict eating regime coupled with an intense training program and proper rest / recovery.
I think considering he is on TRT and under watch his Dr is shooting for a range prob right around 800 TT. If he adds to that with another compound and boists his TT past 1000 I bet he gets his dose cut back
I’m sure he would grow faster getting his TT over 800 but it IS enough to grow if he gets everything else going

Test Cyp is a slow Ester and injection frequency is a large debate.
Again, I could be wrong and made an overstatement but I firmly feel 2 injections per week is far superior. However some people report no concerns with injecting only once a week while others complain of feeling “low” and almost useless after only 5 days and do not bounce back until 2 days after their next injection
It is debateable. I’ve read Test Cyp peaks at 48-36hrs and plasma levels drop below baseline after 4-5 days. The only true way to deal with injection frequency is by individual bloodwork or general feelings of well being
in reference to the cyp and how often, i have been taking TRT for the last 12 weeks, 1.5 cc @ 300 mg per week. as far as how often you should inject cyp, the half life is like 13-14 days so once a week in my opinion once a week is fine. im going for blood work next week to see where all my levels are. i post when i get the results.
oi believe twice a week is unnecessary…
ive gained 12 lbs and dropped a pant size in the last 12 weeks as well
I believe he said he was only taking 100mg a week. That’s a pretty average TRT dose. Myself, and many people I know, do feel that it tends to drop off around day 5. I know the pharmacology, but I know how I feel as well. Twice a week feels right.
