If any of you remember, I posted a couple months back about my 500mg/week Test enanthate cycle. Well the cycle was pretty sweet (17lbs gained), really had very few side effects at all, but I finished off my test in 8 weeks and now it’s time for PCT.
Originally, I was going to do a 10 week cycle but it just didn’t happen that way. My plan was to wait about 10-11 days after my last test injection and use 500iu HCG every day for 10 days, and then immediately after that follow with clomid/nolvadex PCT. I even have the HCG mixed up.
However, after researching some, I’m not sure whether or not I even need the HCG. My balls sure look like they could use a shot of HCG but I’m not sure if it’s necessary. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I have a similar cycle planned, (10 week test E) but I’m incorporating HCG on a weekend protocol starting at week 3, up till my last injection…
HCG is suppressive as well, so I won’t use it during the 2 week buffer after my last pin. I start PCT on week 12. Since you already have it mixed up, I guess you’re in a bit of a bind. I do know that P#22 has some insight on this subject… he had mentioned that if you overuse HCG, it can downregulate your Leydeg receptors… which would be BAD.
I’d say go ahead and use it, but that’s just me… go with your plan.
The HCG protocal you have planned has been suggested many a time by MK but, I would erge you to wait double the half life of the drug you used or esle you will still have too much exogenious test floating around in your system for you recovery to begain.
Enathate has a half life of 14days( I think, I might be wrong) so you should wait about 28days before you start your pct. So I say start your HCG at day 20. This will give you 8 days of HCG leading up to your pct and 2 more days using it along side your clomid or nolva.
Also what are the dosages you plan on using for your nolva or clomid?

I was thinking of using both Clomid and Nolvadex in this dosage:
Day 1: 300mg of clomid and 40mg of nolva
Days 2-11: 150mg of clomid and 20mg of nolva
Days 12-21: 50mg of clomid and 20mg of no
You both really think I should wait 20 days to start PCT? I’ll be honest, that kind of scares me, seems like it’s waiting a long time to begin. I was hoping to start between 10-14 days after my last test shot. Any more input would be great from you guys, I appreciate it.

enanthate has a half-life of 7-10 days tops, and some people report it as low as 5 days.
With the dosage you used, I would start hcg use 10 days after your last shot of test…run it for 10 days at 500iu/d and then start up clomid/nolvadex therapy-by this time, exogenous androgens will be low enough not to further suppress T levels.

MK speaks and I say go with his numbers on the Test-E half life. He has way more experience than I. Just note that you will still not be starting your Clomid and nolva till 20 days after your last inject. Do it as he has outlined and you should keep most of your gains and recover pretty quickly.

If it scares you to wait and you have enough Clomid and Nolva then just start when you want, the worse thing that could happen is that you starta week or so early. On the other hand, if you wait, you could delay your recovery and your estrogen levels might fuck with you.
With regard to the HCG, I am using it on a weekends at 500 ius on Sat and Sun and I started at the end of week 1. I read that Bill Roberts reccomended 500 ius ED and SWALE 250 ius ED if possible. That’s just not practical for me with my personal situation.
I am in week 4 of my cutting cycle and feel great. No shrinkage and sex is wonderful, although the Prop my have something to do with that! Also, I have read conflicting info on HCG half life, from 5 hours to 64 hours, I think the half life is more towards the end of 64 based on my persoanl expierence.
I am running a 12 weeker, w/ TestProp/NPP and EQ (dropping in week 9) and will start Clomid/Nolva in week 13 hopefully with a full pair. Good luck to you.
