Test C, Tren A, Oxandrolone

I highly doubt it (although I’ll never say never, but this is my way of saying it’s not really possible). I was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma when I was in the Marine Corps and I have had worse attacks than the ones I had Wednesday several times before ever using tren. It only happens when I push myself really hard during exercise, and being fast like with the loading medley does it every time, if I am not managing it well that day.

It just sucks because me “managing it” works great somedays and even if I do seemingly the exact same thing, others day it still gets me.

Damn, that really sucks man, I’m sorry to hear that. I had exercise-induced asthma as a kid, but thankfully I grew out of it. I’ve been following your log, you’re killin’ it man!

You and I have something in common! Happy cake day!

eh, they still let me fight on the front lines in Marjah, so they weren’t too concerned about it lol. I’m not either, and I obviously don’t let it stop me. It is just another obstacle to overcome and as much as it sucks I feel like I am better for it.

Same day and same year, that’s quite a coincidence!

Day 31 Update:

Last night’s training session was a REALLY good one. After Wednesday’s workout just slaughtering me, I still managed to recover, rehab, and refeed enough to have a killer workout last night.

I pulled 586 on an axle for an RPE 9 single. This is an all time deadlift PR for me (by 1 lb haha) but to hit this on an axle tells me there is hope for my poverty deadlift after all. This was after a single at 491 and at 561.

The deadlift was first and the very last thing I did was a 6x2 on stones. It was supposed to be a 6x2 with the 340, but I only hit 2x2 with the 340 and had to drop down to the 300 lb stone for the other 4x2. This was all with 30s rest between sets, which is killer for an asthmatic lol. But it is the highest capacity working set I have ever performed with stones, even after hitting a huge deadlift.

Unfortunately, sleep didn’t come easy last night because I was so fatigued and sore from the workout. But some other good news is that the indigestion I was getting had to have been from the addition of the oxandrolone. The last 2 nights I have eaten off diet and have had zero indigestion issues.

586 is poverty? I was almost at 500lbs and thought I was doing pretty well

How much do you weigh?

Now found out I have three hernias, so no more deadlifting for me

Yea, compared to my competition, 586 is still poverty lol. I weighed 248 yesterday morning, but I compete under 231.5 lbs. I think at my competition I’ll be able to hit 615-625 on the axle. But in strongman, middle weight open, I need to be a mid 600 lb deadlifter any day of the week.

Most likely the winner at this competition will pull 700+ on an axle

If I can hit 615-625 on an axle, I think that’ll translate to 650-675 on a straight bar or deadlift bar. However, my current straight bar PR is only 585. So as of right now, my axle PR is higher than my straight bar PR only because I haven’t tested it since last year.

I’ve pulled 600 with a deadlift bar, and don’t think I’m close to that with an axle. You are out of the poverty deadlift for sure. Maybe not s winning deadlift, but it is certainly respectable.

To be fair, I compare myself to the guys that are at the level at which I wish to be. At nationals last year, I had a buddy that pulled around 650 and took 27th out of 74. In order to break the top 10, you had to pull 730.

I am not saying that 600 is a poverty deadlift in general, kudos to anyone pulling that much, but it won’t get me anywhere near my goal only pulling 586, and compared to the top amateur strongmen in the country, it is still warm up weight.

Day 35 Update:

Well yesterday at the gym was humbling. After the workouts from last Wednesday and last Friday, I was still trashed. I thought I was fine going into yesterday’s workout, but once I started moving weight it was a different story. I had viking press yesterday. Last week I hit my top triple at 365, and yesterday I couldn’t hardly budge 325 even for a single. This test/tren/oxandrolone cycle has been really good for me, but at some point during a peak, the training always catches up. I slept well Saturday night, took a 3 hour nap on Sunday and slept well Sunday night and still I was beat Monday. I think it has to do with the taxing training combined with the weight cut. I actually increased my calories by about 150/day, so I am at about a 550 cal deficit instead of 700. My body is fighting me hard on dropping weight. I started at 249, got down to 246 last Thursday morning, and woke up at 251.6 yesterday morning haha. I know it’s all water weight though, I was back down to 248.2 this morning, and if I am diligent I should be around 244-245 on Friday morning.

I really am not dealing with anything with respect to sides, even 5 weeks in. The indigestion I think was largely caused by the addition of the oxandrolone, but once my body got used to it, the indigestion went away. I have dealt with intermittent night sweats (maybe 2 times in 5 weeks), but I have had much worse night sweats just from test only cycles, so I’m not really worried about it.

Blood pressure and HRR are still checking out just fine. No issues with “decreased cardio”. I have gotten 4 bouts of tren cough, one legit bout and 3 bouts of just a a little more than having to clear my throat.

Insomnia is still not an issue. I can sleep pretty much 7 hours a night, but after that it does get a little hard to fall back asleep. I am getting stronger and leaning out still. Also no issues with libido or ED. I think it is safe to say I will not be dealing with tren sides and next time I’ll run tren E. I am not trying to pretend it is safe, but at the very least it hasn’t been immediately detrimental to my health.

Update on this, I forgot to mention, I opened the lighter colored vial about a week ago, and based on my performance in the gym, I would imagine the potency is the same for both of these different colors of tren Ace.

Day 37 Update:

I added about 150 cals of carbs back into my diet this past Saturday because I didn’t feel like the 700 cal/day deficit was doing me any favors. I had low energy during my workouts after the first exercise and I was overeating to compensate for the lack of energy after my workout. There is no way I was eating 4900 calories to make up for a full week deficit, but I might’ve only been around 1500-2000 cal deficit by the end of the week. I woke up Monday morning at 251.6 and woke up today at 244 even (I know that was mostly water weight, but it was definitely some fat as well) and now I am ahead of my adjusted plan (the adjusted plan is 242 by next Friday, the 16th). I initially planned to be 242 by tomorrow, but I screwed myself up with the huge deficit. Depending on how things go I may try to hop back in the bodpod once I get down to 242.

Last night’s workout went great, I hit 3x3 at 300 lbs on safety squat bar front squats. This was follow by a 625 lb yoke run for 100’ in 29s. This is by no means record breaking speed, but for me this is a HUGE breakthrough. I have always been slow as fuck with the yoke and I am finally learning how to drive/push with my hips. I am still 75 lbs off of competition weight, but now I think I can do the full comp run in about 35-40s with 700 lbs instead of the planned 59.99999s. This was followed by several medley pick ups and runs. I don’t feel trashed today, and this is the first time I have ever run a heavy yoke without feeling absolutely crushed the next day. This has very little to do with the gear I am running and a lot more to do with learning proper technique.

So I’m gonna throw another dumb question/idea out here. Anyone have any thoughts about adding 100-150 mg anadrol on the day of weigh-ins and the day of the competition? On top of all of the other compounds I’m using, but do it for 2 days only? This competition is actually a pretty big one and the winner gets a bid to the Arnold Amateur Strongman World Championships, so I’m looking for any reasonable edge I can get. I thought about giving it a go tomorrow and Saturday to see how my deadlift/stones day turns out on Saturday. I think this will give me an idea of viability/usefulness.

I also have Tbol. I haven’t touched either of these orals yet, but I’m throwing ideas out.

I guess I could ask the same question about upping the tren ace for the last 3-5 days before the competition.

My personal opinion is that this experiment you describe is the only way you will know, for sure, how your body responds to this, regardless of what any of us have to say. And it’s best done now, not later.

Better to experiment now, than on the day of the contest

Option 1: you have a bunch of us speculate, or maybe even 1 or 2 guys say, “Do it man. It worked for me.” and then wait until the contest to try it. If it screws you up somehow, you suck on the day of the contest.

Option 2: you try it now and see how your body responds. If it goes badly, you only suffer a minor setback, with plenty of time to recover. If it goes well, you could start it 4 days out and it would reach peak concentration on day of, as this would be 6 half-lives of the drug.

Seems a no brainer to me.

Yep, don’t do it only on the day of the contest. Orals can mess with some people (stuff like cramps). You need to do this first to see how it is going to impact you.

I would do this if using Tbol, Var or the Tren in this case. With Drol, he may gain 10 lbs of water in 4 days on. I wouldn’t start it until after the weigh in.

The SSB is a game changer for front squats. I have had access to a SSB for years now and never tried to front squat with it until a couple weeks ago. It is so much better than a barbell as far as the weight feeling secure. I will say if you walk forward into the J-cups to rack it, it kinda feels like it is trying to kill you when you set it down.

Yea I think you’re right about that. I took 50 mg earlier today before my workout, and I could tell it was there. But it was a pretty light workout today so I’m sure I didn’t REALLY feel it. Tomorrow I’m going to take 75mg preworkout and see how it goes.

I suppose the tren increase and the Tbol aren’t as good of ideas

Good lord last thing I wanna do it put on water weight lol. Yea I’ll wait until after weigh ins.

With the SSB front squats, the weight feels more secure than a barbell but I feel like it wants to pull you forward more. I think it has GREAT carryover to all of the lifting and carrying done on strongman though. And they’re killer when done with pauses in the hole, which my coach programs OFTEN

Halo. It’s literally made for this situation. Warning: halo may make you an insane person, so try it a few days beforehand to make sure it doesn’t cause you to go on a multistate killing spree.
