Test C, Tren A, Oxandrolone

This is good to know, thanks. I won’t worry too much about it unless I start using it and I feel like it isn’t working. Until then I am going to assume it is good. I can’t stress enough how good of a supplier this dude has been.

I’ve had crappy gear too, and it sucks to waste money like that.

Are you sure about this? Anything that’s been oxidized has undergone an alteration to its structure, which changes its properties. This could render it benign in the body as far as anabolic/androgenic capabilities, or even make it outright toxic. The oil could have been oxidized, which would make it toxic to the body.

It’s pretty common for this to happen to tren. It’s also possible that when making it the brewer used slightly more heat which will also turn tren much darker. Tren seems to be more sensitive to changes than most other compounds.

Usually the portion that’s oxidized is very small, but that’s often enough to change colors significantly. If it’s a very small portion, the toxicity is usually not a problem. But there’s the point of better safe than sorry.

I am not convinced that we should conclude that it is oxidation. Sources change oils for example. Go from mixing yellow raw powder Tren in a clear carrier oil to one that is a darker carrier oil, and you would see about that change in color.

My supplier recently changed carrier oils, and the new stuff is slightly different in color.

Whatever the explanation is (and there are three possible answers) the end result is that it’s not something to be terribly concerned about.

Day 22 Update:

So far everything seems to be going ok. This cycle hasn’t been too intrusive on my life. The indigestion from Friday night surprisingly bled over into Monday, but I have been good since then. Wife is ovulating and I have had zero issues performing, so that is all good to go. It seems both trenbolone and nandrolone increase my libido and create zero ED issues. Something that is very odd to me is that I have a much better mood on Tren than I did with NPP. I remember feeling constantly agitated and aggravated on NPP (I was able to control it, but it wasn’t always easy). With tren I feel a lot more level and normal, and even more odd is I feel like I have more patience with my children (5 yr old and 3 yr old).

I have been tracking my blood pressure daily, and today was 126/82, which is a good representation of my tracking for the last two weeks. and my RHR is sticking to right around 60 BPM still.

My body weight was being stubborn initially when I started cutting. It actually went up for most of the first week. I started at 249, but as of today I am at 246. I started on the 11th, and I am down 3 lbs in 12 days so I am happy with that, especially after the slow start. I believe by Friday morning I can be about 245.5. I need to try to be about 242 by April 9th, which is very doable. I really don’t want to cut past that date because I want to give my body plenty of time to acclimate to the new set point before my competition.

Overall I do know that the tren is working, which is something I was unsure of at first. But my workouts are becoming easier and I find that warming up is much faster. Usually it takes me a long time to warm up, even at only 33 yrs old. It is almost embarrassing the amount of time it takes to warm up. I don’t necessarily have joint relief like I did with the NPP, but I do feel like I do have less aches and pains, maybe due to better recovery? As of right now I am planning to bump the tren up to 280 mg/wk, but I want to give it a little more time at 245… well hell I just counted out the time I have been at 245/wk and it has been 2 weeks. I may bump it up tomorrow, because I definitely feel like I am still wanting more, and the sides are mostly unnoticeable/nonexistent.

Day 23 Update:

Upped the tren from 245/wk to 280/wk today. Also I bumped the test just a hair from 385/wk to 402.5/wk. I want to try to keep it close to a 1.5:1 test:tren. I know that’s not exactly that ratio but it’s close enough for now. If sides start creeping in and I cannot control them, I will dial it back. But as of right now I feel very comfortable jumping up to this number. I do not believe I will go any higher than this, and even from day 1, I kinda knew this would be the max I would run.

I’m going to try to make time to hop in the bodpod tomorrow at the gym to see where I am BF% wise. It really doesn’t matter for my purposes, but it would be nice to see where I am almost exactly 1 year after I last got in it.

Gym lifts are progressing. Last night I was moving the 300 lb sandbag and my pick up time was cut to less than half of what it was a month ago. It went from 7-8 seconds to 2.5-3 seconds, which is HUGE when you’re considering how fast the timed events go. This improvement is a combination of the training, the gear that I am running and I think, most importantly, just getting more comfortable with the movement itself.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I am feeling some lethargy, but I think that is more from the drastic decrease in carbs than it is the tren usage. I cut my carbs from about 300 per day to 120 per day literally overnight.

I’m shocked, got in the bodpod and it had me at 16.7% BF, I thought I was 18-19%

Day 25 Update:

Well I had a cheat/refeed last night, ate a bunch of pizza and a bit of ice cream. My gut is fine as long as I am eating clean, but man I pay for it when I eat garbage. However this should set me up for a good axle deadlift/stone workout tonight. Woke up at 247.8 today, yesterday I woke up at 246.4, I fully expected to hold onto all of that water after eating pizza though.

Yesterday’s BodPod results absolutely shocked me. I got in expecting to be 18-19% BF and was really just hoping for sub 20%. Then I saw the 16.7% and damn near flipped. I know I’m sure I’ll get some “are you sure it was calibrated” type of comments based on my (terrible) photos that I post, but the BodPod is the most accurate way to measure aside from a DXA scan. I also carry a VAST majority of my fat in my mid section, and I am just not a good photo taker. Also, consider that it is a percentage of my body weight, if I was 200 lbs with 41 lbs BF I would be ~20%, but I am just shy of 250.

Nothing new to report as far as sides or training. I feel great, I look decent and sides have been minimal, as previously mentioned in all of my posts. I think I would be dealing with insomnia due to sleeping so hot if I did not have a heated/cooled mattress. There are times I get hot and have to adjust the temperature, but I am able to fall back asleep. I am recovering really well between workouts as well.

Heres a couple of pics for reference:

The left photo here (ignore the right one, I just didnt feel like trimming it off right now) was taken a week or 2 before the BodPod results shown from 2/29/2020, which shows BW 257.3, Fat mass 64.4lbs and lean mass 192.9 lbs, for a total of 25% BF.

This second photo was taken yesterday after the BodPod results, dated 3/26/2021, which shows 247.8 lbs (10 lbs less than previous bodpod), fat mass of 41.5 lbs (23 lbs less than previous) and lean mass of 206.3 (13.4 lbs more than previous). Regardless of TRUE BF%, this shows a 23 lbs swing over a year (10 lbs less BW but 13.4 lbs more lean mass)

Did you ever try liposomal curcumin? It fixed my skin problems to a large degree also helps digestion, I feel.

I have not, I suppose I can give it a shot. I just liken it to punishment for eating off-diet while running tren, it’s a pretty good motivator to eat clean. But I’ll pick some up and try it out.

Add gelatin to your diet.

Day 27 Update:

Ok, so I think 280 mg/wk Tren ace is a good place to be for a first cycle. Admittedly I am starting to feel a little more of the mood sides at this dose, but it is controllable. I do not feel numb or detached, but more aggravated/irritable, however this is not 100% of the time either. Strength gains are starting to come along also. The only thing I am unsure of is if it’s the tren working or the increased test… or both. My next blast may be test only to see if these gains I am making are the same with or without 19-nors.

I pulled 540 on an axle Saturday afternoon for a smooth, RPE 8-8.5 single. Watching a video from last October I pulled 551on a deadlift bar with the same amount of effort. So after having fallen off for about 3 months in between then and now due to an eye injury, I think I am progressing really well. On comp day in early May I could pull close to 600 on an axle, which is about the equivalent of 640-650 on a deadlift bar. And that would SMASH my current PR of 585 set back last May.

Getting a little into the weeds here, I think the last piece of the puzzle for my deadlift is learning how to pull back and up, not just up. I am working on that now with front banded deadlifts and it seems to be helping.

I am up to 250 after the weekend, but it is pretty typical for me to gain 3-4 lbs of water over the weekend from cheating/refeeding. As long as I stick to the plan for the week I should be down to 244.5 by Friday morning.

Given the same training and diet, I think you’ll find that the rate of gain is BETTER on high test, alone.

Every time I run Test, alone, strength slowly, but steadily, goes up. When I add in NPP, I bloat up a few pounds, and then gains stall quicker than a old Ford Pento.

I’ve been thinking lately on what would be healthier for the same amount of gains. High test even if you need an ai, of a mix of other compounds. Obviously tren does special stuff, that the elite use well. I’m not planning on using tren, so I’m looking at stacking the safer compounds (with some test) or high test (750-1000mg/wk).

To be fair, I am not saying the tren is or is not working, but I am wondering how much it is doing. Even on just TRT I was making pretty good, linear gains with respect to both strength and size/leaning out. I also didn’t really notice this blast until I started bumping up the test. Unfortunately as impatient as I am, it’s hard to know if it was the test or the tren because by the time the increased test should have been “kicking in” I also bumped up the tren around the same time. For the record, I feel like I got A LOT out of NPP. I didn’t get bloated and in fact I was the leanest I have ever been in my entire life running NPP. And my strength was still going up steadily. I think I am well past the point of having “crazy” strength gains in a short time, short of blasting a gram of tren per week.

Now on the flip side of that same coin, would the TRT gains have plateaued if I wasn’t blasting or using tren? It is impossible to know. But after this cycle, I’ll take some time off, then I’ll probably run a blast of just test around 500-600 mg/wk to see if I feel like test only cycles are worthwhile for me

Day 28 Update:

4 weeks in, nothing bad to report. Daily blood pressure measuring, daily morning weigh-ins, lifting progress, and increased athletic ability all show good progress. Even my (shit) progress photos show that I am leaning out, regardless of BF%. No chest pains, which I have had in the past… when I was a young dumb US Marine. They used to sell oral steroids at the GNC on base, so I thought they were harmless and legal. I would take that stuff and I remember having heart pains. But I didn’t know what caused it, nor did I care that my heart was hurting. I haven’t had heart pains since then (about 10 years ago) so I am not concerned with it.

I see more tren cycles in my future… most likely tren e next time though, simply to avoid daily pinning. And that will likely come after my test only blast that I mentioned previously. While I am not entirely sure if the tren is increasing strength, it is, without a doubt, increasing my ability to recover.

Another area of improvement is my athletic ability/explosiveness, which is very hard to measure short of watching videos for timing purposes. I do feel much more explosive and quicker with moving events, such as my sandbag/keg/sandbag medley. I was thinking about this earlier. I know that I am well beyond seeing massive strength gains from a single cycle (unless I blast grams of gear) but the athletic gains are still coming at this dose.

I keep thinking about increasing my dose up to 315-350/wk (with the extra vial I bought I could bump it up to this). I know I said 280/wk was the max I would run for a first cycle, but honestly it’s going so much better than I expected (with respect to sides), if y’all think I am being crazy or stupid, help me out here and let me know. I really think I would be fine to do so, but sometimes I need people to keep me in check as well.

O yea, and I hit 365 for 3 on viking press last night, and I hit 15 reps in one minute at competition weight (300 lbs) after my top triple. So viking press is coming along VERY nicely. I think 20 reps is a sure winner in that event.

I vote for just riding out the tren dose as is. Then next blast bumping it up a touch. I’ve never ran tren and am a drug noobie, so take that fwiw.

I don’t really think a small bump like that will change much except the possibility of sides. Everyone I talk to about Tren says “don’t get greedy”. Better off just riding it out and being sides free with a good outcome. Just my 2c
