Thanks, I’m actually pretty shocked I haven’t gotten many sides from it. I hear all of the horror stories and it leads me to believe one of 2 things (or maybe a combination of the 2) 1) I’m just fucking lucky (well a mixture of luck and risk mitigation) that my body responds the way it does or 2) most of the people that I talk to in person about it lie about how much gear they actually use (which I believe to be very possible). I hate that because I am very open and honest with pretty much anyone that asks.
Not many people are a fan of his, but Stuart McRobert once wrote “The first casualty of steroids is the truth.”
I think a lot of guys, when asked in person, understate how much they are on, and how much it has helped them.
No one wants to admit that their gains came from a bottle.
I’m like you. I’m open about it. I have a lot of buddies wanting to get on TRT and/or do mild cycles. I am honest because I want to help people . I even send folks my labs all the time.
Anyway, I don’t want to hijack your thread with a discussion about ethics.
Great work man. Keep up the fight!
Me three. I think there are some genetic outliers that are perhaps telling the truth, but I think it is factual to say most of the mass monsters, top level strongmen and powerlifters are on crazy amount of gear.
Day 17 Update:
Well I increased the test today to 385 mg/wk. Obviously there is nothing noticeable yet. The scale read 247 today, which is nice because now the weight is starting to come off a little bit, and from here I expect it to come off a little faster based on the moderately aggressive deficit that I am running.
I really don’t have much to say or update today.
Beware of the water Test brings in. I know you’re an experienced guy, it’s just a reminder. Any time I increase Test above 300, my weight and waist measurement bump up a bit. Don’t let it mess with your head and derail you. It’s subdermal water.
True story, when I recently stopped Test for 7 days for labs, my weight dropped 7 pounds and my waist girth went down 3/4 inch.
Stay strict on that diet!
That pic on the left is closer to 30+ bf. Nice difference between the two pics though ;^ )
Curious about how this cycle goes. Seems like more test and no tren would work better and be healthier, and you could run it 16 weeks instead of 9.
I haven’t tried tren though, so I’m pretty intrigued how it works at such a low dose.
You could probably switch out winstrol instead of anavar and get an even better result. At your body fat, anavar isn’t going to do jack.
It will increase strength, which is what op is going for I think. Competitors with higher body fat use these drugs successfully for lifting big. It is hard for some to understand, but going after strength over looks is a thing. Personally, I want both, but at a time I was all about strength at the cost of looks.
Yea there’s a pretty big difference. The 25% was recorded by a bod pod. So I would think it’s accurate. I think a lot of people see the google images of what body fat percentages look like and think it’s a defined rule/law if you look like this, you are this percent BF. You also have to consider that if I weigh 200 lbs and have 50 lbs body fat, then I am 25% body fat. But if I weigh 250, because I have an additional 50 lbs of lean mass but still 50 lbs body fat, that would make me 20% BF.
Either way, I couldn’t care less about hat my BF% is, because as long as I weight under 231.5 on may 1st and I’m strong as an ox, then my mission is accomplished. I’m an amateur strongman competitor.
Also here’s another progress pic. 3% BF or 30% BF, it doesn’t matter to me. I’m leaning out and still getting stronger. This is a much better lighted photo than the one from Wednesday.
I’m running the tren for 9 weeks to build up to my competition to help build strength and lean out. I was fairly lean back in October, then had to come off everything and completely stop working out due to an injury. I got a bit fat. And the anavar I’m using for strength also, aesthetics are important to me, but it’s a distant second to my primary goal of strength. It’s all laid out in the first post
Thanks man, I’m not too worried about adding water weight. As you mentioned as long as I stay strict, I actually don’t really add much any water weight at all.
Last night was the first real day I got off my diet as a bit of a refeed/cheat for my axle deadlifts and stones workout today. I got a pretty nasty dose of trendigestion from it, so that’s pretty strong motivation to eat clean haha
Day 19 Update:
Well I had my first real run in with indigestion from tren usage. Friday night I had a cheat/refeed (large pizza and ice cream), and about half of the day Saturday I had pretty bad indigestion, even though I was eating clean all day yesterday (I actually under ate yesterday and still had a great workout).
There’s one other side effect that I get that I forgot to mention, but it happens with test, NPP, and tren: I get itchy fucking armpits. I have no idea why or what causes it, but it is the one side effect I can always count on when on cycle.
Current levels of gear are:
245 mg/wk Tren A
385 mg/wk Test C
50 mg/day Oxandrolone
Last night at the gym, I was underfed and dehydrated (I chugged probably a half gallon of water to start my workout to make sure I wouldn’t hurt myself or pass out) and I still managed to get an easy 460x4 on axle deadlifts, followed by 9 sets of back down triples, to start my workout. Then I ended the 3 hour workout with 4x2 with a 340 lb atlas stone loaded over a 50" bar. So I think I am definitely seeing results from the tren. That, coupled with the fact that I am leaning out and more or less maintaining my weight is a big win.
Day 20 Update:
Well I had planned to go give blood today. My last blood draw had my hematocrit at 53%. In retrospect, I believe I was probably fairly dehydrated going into it, but I was still going to give blood anyways. Well I canceled my blood draw simply because I do not want to forfeit any training days going into my competition since I am just a few weeks out (from a little reading it looks like I should expect to be down from REAL training for about 48 hours or more after donating blood), and I know I won’t pull back enough in training and potentially injure myself.
Also, it is starting to get to the point that even eating clean isn’t enough to stop the indigestion. It’s not terrible, but I constantly have an uneasy stomach. I can still eat, but it’s not because I am hungry, even though I am cutting, I just know that I have to eat. But I don’t necessarily feel like I am force feeding either. This may be from the introduction of the oxandrolone, because I remember on my last cycle, this happened when I introduced it then too, and went away after a week or two.
Sleep, mood, and libido are all still good to go.
I have been training for a heavy 1RM deadlift since August and I never got to test it (training for a max deadlift bar deadlift for October last year, but missed the competition, and now I am training for a max axle deadlift for May) so I am trying to convince my coach to program one in… if he doesn’t I’ll probably just do it on my own anyways.
So I just got a 3rd vial of tren today, since I bumped it up I had to get a 3rd vial.
I don’t think this is against the rules to post this pic since I have the labels marked out, but I have to ask: Why is one vial brown and one vial yellow? The first two vials I got were brown and the one I just got in the mail is yellow. Both vials are tren ace
Your supplier is likely not very consistent. They are probably a different batch. I have had test from the same order, where some were a little bit different tint than the others. They might use several different oils (or switch up oils based on what is cheaper, easier to get…). I wouldn’t say it is a clear sign of bunk gear or anything.
So you think it has more to do with a difference in carrier oils? I’m ok with that. In fact I don’t care about the color as long as it works. I’m gonna open that yellow one next, that way if for some reason it does seem like it isn’t as potent or whatever, I can revert back to the other brown one that I have and source some from elsewhere. So far I can say that everything I have purchased from this guy has been good stuff (I’ve bought quite a bit from him over the last 1.5-2 years), but seeing a difference will certainly make my brain wonder.
With Tren, I would be thinking it would be fake if it was clear. Tren raw powder is yellow (at least for everything I have seen pictures of). I wouldn’t be concerned if it was brown as it could be the carrier oil mixed with the yellow powder.
Tren I have used is very brown in colour. Swear by it.
You can always ask your supplier, a good supplier will be transparent about it.
Nope. Raws. One has oxidized more than the other. When tren comes in darker it’s had more exposure to oxygen. It makes no difference in strength or results.
