Teeth Whiteners

Has anyone tried and found a good teeth whitener that works?

ya know, this is interesting, i was just talking to my dentist what he thought about those OTc teeth-whiteners, and he told me that they were plain crap. They’re gonna work… a little… and if you keep buying them they’re gonna work in the long haul.

but when you think about thow they cost 30-40 bucks, and in all actuality, you’re gonna have to buy 4-5 kits to get the job done, why not just get them done professionally at the dentist?

I made my appointment (tommorrow 1:00).

btw, i’ve used crest whitestrips, and my teeth hurt - bad… no reccommendation from me on that one.

I did some research a few months ago, and found Crest Night Effects to be the best reviewed at-home tooth whitening product. Tried it out, and I must say it worked pretty damn well. Of course, you have to give up teeth-staining foods for a few weeks like coffee, tea, beets, etc.

I got one of the custom kits from this place: All Your Dental Products in one place at the best Prices Online!

The trays are custom made; you are sent a clay like substance with good directions and use it to take an impression of upper and lower teeth. Send them back and a week or so later you have 2 fitted trays to put in the whitening gel. It worked great for me.

Now, the whitening gel comes in different strengths and will make your teeth sensitive to hot and cold. I used the 16% stuff and was happy with the results

Opalescence is supposed to be the best. It is the exact same gel used by dentists. Dentists use this with the laser so that the effects are immediate. If you use the gel for 7 days for an hour a day you get the same results.
