Have noticed this being offered more and more in advertising and am interested to know people’s results and advice about what to look for with regards to stuff like the price, what process is best, if any could cause problems (like long lasting pain etc).
I understand that you can have over night gumshields and/or it done on a single visit?
is there any difference in the quality between any of these? is it relatively permanent or does it need touching up every 12 months or whatever.
I have used those whitening strips. They do work, but my teeth were a lot more sensitive. I don’t think it is good for your teeth. Maybe our in house dentist will weigh in on this.

Thanks for any experiences you can share. [/quote]
Most people I talk to who are really diligent about keeping their teeth white recommend just going with the Crest 3D White strips. Basically said to use them frequently until you get to the level of whiteness desired and then a couple of times per month after that. I started with them recently. On my second box and my teeth are looking much better. Not bad for a $90 investment. In terms of discomfort, I’ve only had some mild tooth sensitivity, though from what I understand this varies a lot from person to person.
Like about 8 years ago I had my teeth whitened at this dentist office. I think it was like a zoom whitening thing. It was like $250, but my teeth got a lot whiter. Like I said that was 8 years ago so i’m not sure how technology has changed.

do they still look as good? if not, roughly how much worse have they gotten?

yeah they don’t sound like they would be good for them
i am willing to pay good money at a dentist but dont know which type of procedure is best in terms pf effectiveness and safety
been meaning to go to a couple and ask but they’ll all just sell their own type as the best
Did zoom whitening because my dentist offered me a special. Teeth looked very white for several months after. Teeth returned to normal color within a year (I brush after every meal and floss three times a week). I don’t think it is worth it.
I have to give a thumbs up to the OTC strips. A few years ago I used them. A couple of weeks after I started, my sister in law asked me what I was doing to make my teeth so white.
I don’t remember the brand, but assume they are all the same.
So, I read this and got all motivated to rummage around and find my white strips. Put a set on, then realized that they’re two hour strips. WTF. I was thinking they stayed on for 30 min. Now I have to go to sleep with them on, or wait up.

They are not quite as white as they were afterwards, but still better than they ever were.
So everybody pretty much has positive experiences with these products?
I heard your teeth can go from white to grey after a while because the bleach wears off or whatever. Anybody experienced that?
I am quite self-conscious of my teeth… I used to dip a lot (spit tobacco) and my teeth definitely look worse. I would like to reverse that if I could seeing as how I haven’t dipped in 2 years or so.

if anything your teeth can go back to being yellow again tahts about it really. I mean I think you can keep the whiteness for a longtime if you don’t drink alot of sodas and fruit drinks.
One thing I think that will fuck up your teeth is drinking a peri workout stuff during your workout. That shit is as sweet and sugary as Gatorade. Honestly I wouldn’t drink anything(except water) during my workouts if you want to keep your teeth white.
