Substantiate this please. So far Pat is the only one who has backed up their position in this thread, and he has done it a couple times.
What makes a human, a human? From a biological standpoint how is a zygote a human or a person? Can it do what people do? What biological functions can it perform? Define what a person is and see if a zygote can meet that criteria.
From a conceptual standpoint what can a zygote do that a person can do? Can it think? Is it self-aware? Does it have emotions?

Guys, honestly, if the aborted fetus was homosexual, you would be pro-life right, because that is discrimination?
That makes no sense as religion was used to justify slavery.

Quite telling that you point out the religious notation, and ignore the whole part about how both you, Pitt and the rest of the murder supporters have no problem with pretending humans aren’t human for your own justification and rationalization.

Well, lets see. Jordy Nelson can run fast, catch footballs and score touchdowns. You can’t… Therefore you aren’t human and should be murdered via vacuum.
zecarlo wrote:

What exactly is it then?
A zygote.
And what is a zygote?
A pre-human species?
A sub-human species?
A parasite (that seems to be popular)?
What is a finger? An eye? A rock? A drop of water? A hydrogen atom? A zygote is a zygote. It’s a single cell formed by a sperm and egg. Is a sperm cell therefore a “pre-human” species?

Great rationale you are supporting there.
Again, that makes no sense and is simply you avoiding the questions.

No, I’m waiting to answer your questions until you substantiate your claim that a zygote isn’t human.

You said:
A zygote is not a human
I asked:
Substantiate that claim please
You:
Apparently can’t
SOund about right?
The thing is, I don’t need to substantiate it. It’s up to anti-abortionists to prove otherwise.

Can a 35 year old left comatose due to a car accident do these things?

He did at one point unlike a zygote.

You made the claim, not I.
if it is a human zygote , by all means it is human just as but if it is another animal then it is not

I didn’t make the claim, the dictionary and the law did. According to the law a zygote is not a person. It may be a human organism but that doesn’t mean it’s a person.
