Teacher Punches Student

Y’all are acting like goobers. Yeah, that kid needs a beating. No, he didn’t back her into a corner. She was standing in the corner to begin with, he walked up on her and she punched him in the face. He took it and backed off. I’m not saying he’s not a punk ass kid, or that he doesn’t need a serious ass whoopin’, but she handled that all kinds of wrong. She then makes shit up “He touched me!!! You saw it!!!” Uh, we did see it and no he didn’t. As stated earlier, I can guarantee that they’ve had issues in the past. Getting punched in the face by a geriatric teacher isn’t gonna deter this kid from shit. I don’t know what this lady was thinking, but she’s probably gonna lose her job for it.

Someone didn’t read the article.

This has to be the greatest post in the history of T-Nation.

High five for the teacher who, let’s not forget, is 64 years old.

Read it this morning. Am I forgetting something?

“Back in my day…” Really though, That type of shit should absolutely not be tolerated for a second. Having earned a few whaps upside the head and locker bouncings from teachers, I’d say that kid is quite fortunate that he chose an older woman to pick on and not a few of the serious bruisers that used to break up fights and handle discipline problems in my schools growing up.

It appears WF is correct on one point though. She was not in a corner, she was backed into a doorjamb, which is the only thing I can imagine that would offer less space to get yourself out of than a corner and still technically have 3 dimensions.

Good call WF.

I don’t know man. While what he said was fucked up, he was just trying to intimidate her. He had no intention of hitting her, 'cause if he did it would’ve happened by the time she took a swing. And, he didn’t hit her back when he easily could’ve. She completely overreacted, and I can pretty much guarantee that they had been “at eachother” throughout the year. Being a teacher [or any position of authority] doesn’t make one immune to natural human feelings, and it’s pretty clear that there was a mutual dislike there. That may be an isolated incident, but we now know she’s capable of pretty irrational behavior.
I think you’re waaaay off here. I have a simple question:

Would you ever allow anyone to invade your personal space like this? Ever? While calling you a cunt or the male equivalent? Because to do so is a good way to become a victim.

If anyone is talking aggressively to me and they get that close (not even that close, but close enough to hit me should they choose), I’m hitting first. Although I am shocked by what she did, NO ONE should have to tolerate someone threatening them in such a manner - and it’s absolutely a threat and intimidation. What do you do? Wait to get hit to be sure?

If my kid did that, I’d be kicking his ass when he got home and I’d have no complaint to the school. You just don’t do that.

If I was in that room, and seen such disrespect of a woman. Even without physical contact from him I would have bull rushed him and put him up against the wall for merely disrespect of a woman and disrespect for his elders.

There is no room for such disrespect, I don’t care that she’s a teacher or in a position of authority, the fact that she is a woman is reason enough.
Of course if he were a dog with an ear hold, you’d just shoot him.

So would you allow anyone to walk up this close to you in a threatening manner, suing foul language?

You cannot condemn this teacher. I don’t know about anyone else, but if you come up to me talking shit, acting threatening, you better do so beyond my reach and come no further unless you’re guarding your grill and throwing punches. If you come within the circle of my reach, I’m going to assume you intend to assault me. And I will assault you FIRST.

^^^ Haha. Dude, I have a permanent small dent in the top of my head where my 5th grade gym teacher turned his ring upside down and “clapped” the top of my head, drawing a small amount of blood. He did that shit 'cause I kept talking in line after he told me to stop. He immediately grabbed me by both arms and told me not to tell anyone. And I didn’t. Not really sure why, 'cause I wasn’t scared, just never got around to it I guess.

Anyway, this teacher overreacted. If she wanted to get out of a door way, open the door and tell the kid to leave.

Regardless of whether she should have done it or not…I’m just happy the kid got hit.

So how does your experience somehow make what this kid did right?

What kind of kid tries to intimidate a teacher? Especially a 64 year old lady. This kid is fucked up in the head.

And I like that bitch in the video saying " YOU CANT DO THAT HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING", kids these days think there so fucken smart lol, dumb bitch.

^^^ Did I say it did? Thought I’d said that the kid is a punk ass and needs a beating. He just didn’t his 64 year old teacher to try and deliver it, in class, with several people around and one person filming it.

The kids vouched for their teacher. Sounds like regardless of who touched who, the right decision in the court was made.

If she really were a terrible teacher, her kids would probably just side with the bully and say she started it.

Yeah the fact that the students sided with the teacher, even though some of them may have been the kid’s friend… that’s all I need to know.

Honestly… I’ve had a few teachers that deserved to be hit in the face.

Hard to understand why some of our best and brightest are rushing to become teachers.

It’s gotta’ be because of the high salary they earn.
