Teacher Punches Student

How would poll have turned out if the teacher was male and YOUNG (under 50) ?

If the teacher was male and the student was male? Female student (large, belligerent) ?

It’s about time that they instigate laws for parenting - some people just aren’t capable of raising kids. It’s just a case of fire and forget. I’m not talking eugenics: my ten year old nephew was attacked a fortnight ago by four kids armed with sticks. My sister went to the houses of each kid. One of the parents denied that their child, who was the ringleader and the only girl involved, was even there, even though all the other kids involved all apologized to my nephew when their parents asked them about what happened.

Some parents are in denial about their kids behaviour.

What the hell are some you talking about?

We’re looking at a situation between two people where INSTINCT dictates the course of action, and some of you expect the people involved to think on a conscious level and ANALYZE–i.e. NOT use instinct–before reacting? Really?

Whiteflash,

I think you’re being contrarian for the sake of being contrarian…

I remember getting into a fight when I was a little kid. I came to my mom and said, “Mom, he HIT me HARD!” She looked at me and said, “Did you hit him back?”

“No.”

“Why not?”

Along the same lines… After getting into fight, I came home and told my dad that he fought dirty because he was trying to kick me.

My dad procedes to tell me that there’s no such thing as “dirty” fighting… Anything goes when you fight on the street.

My older sister says, “Get out there and kick his ass and don’t come home until you do!”
