I think my shoulders and triceps do well with a few more sets/week. Like 12 might be good for shoulders, especially I I start trying to do focused work for rear and side delts.
And my biceps do a little better with less. 6-8 sets doesn’t inflame my bicep tendons like 9 per week did.
I second the notion to keep biceps sets lower. my biceps used to feel like they were being ripped apart at ~20 sets per week but are doing much better with 12-15 per week (i always do high volume).
