Tatts. Yes or No

I for the most part don’t like tats on chicks…I’m OK with the small ones here and there but on shoulders, arms, or stuff like full sleeves on a woman…NO…

There have been quite a few I’ve seen in tat mags that have something like full leg or full back stuff and these chicks are HOT!..so that makes me ask the question…Is the hottie hot because of the ink, or inspite of it?

i think they look trashy. but to each his own.

There actually are some neat lower back tattoos that don’t look super-trashy. A girl I go to school with has a really neat looking multi-coloured pheonix tattoo on her lower back. Course she’s fat now, so it might look like shit at this point.

I will grudgingly agree. Not because of the number of tatoos - but because I am a huge pussy, and the last one hurt really bad.

I read these threads all the time and never respond to any of them no matter how much I want to. But this subject is a pretty good one and I just feel compelled to add my two cents as there are a lot of good posts here.

I have three tattoos that are very personal and mean a lot to me. I have two tattoos from when I was in The Marines. And they’re not the mascot or just the emblem. They are unique in that I have never seen another Marine with them.

I also have a tattoo on my upper back of a Griffin perched on a barbell. I have always loved Griffin’s(especially since that’s my name). I have had my Marine Corps tattoos for over 10 years and have never once regretted them. My Griffin is only a couple of years old, but I don’t see my self getting tired of it.

And yes, I am thinking of the next design that I want. Tattoos are very addictive, but I think it is because of the way you can express your feelings and tell a story about yourself without saying a word. They should mean something to you, and should not be done for the sake of being “cool” or “trendy”. Those people should be beaten and bloodgened(sp) to death for trampling on something sacred.

What I cannot tolerate is tats on tits. It’s just wrong.

A couple of years ago my wife and I took a second honeymoon to a clothing optional resort South of Cancun. We had never been to such a place before. I had been to all nude titty bars, but that’s a far cry from regular folks lounging around a pool sans bathing suits.

Anyhow, I come down from out room - fully prepared for the full monty. Or so I thought. My first glance at nude boob was that of a 50-something lady that was extremelty proud of her huge knockers. They were fat woman huge, not gloriously huge. And she had the most disturbing sunbursts tatooed on her boobs. They were centered around each nipple and went out about 2 inches. It looked like two big black aureolas surrounded by fat woman tits.

And that was what I did on summer vacation.

That’s humorous. Gotta love the proud and the fat.

Your last one was on the spine right? I have heard that hurts like a sonofabitch…apparently that is one of the most painful places.

I have some and I want more. I waited until I was 29 to get my first one. Now, I’m addicted. I’m not finished with the one on my arm/shoulder/back/chest. Once it’s complete, I’ll potentially get more.

From the back.

I’m looking into getting into federal law enforcement and I?ve been told they will not hire you if you have them. Don’t want you to have any distinguishing marks I guess?

as for tats on girls

  1. None on the chest
  2. None on the neck or face (that means they are they are harder then me)
  3. The flower or butterfly right over the ass is the equivalent to the barbwire on guy’s arms. Its meaningless and an outdated trend
  4. No “I LUV MY BABY’S DADDY!”

Get a tat for yourself, not to look “badass”. You should pic a tat that you absolutely love, so much so that you dont care if everyone else hates it.

If you are iffy on the tat… dear god dont get it.

Well Brad Cordoza’s got tat’s… he looks badass. Must be the tat’s.

Is it still a tramp stamp if it’s on a dude?lol Seriously, a guy I work with has one on his lower back, it actually has dolphins.

My favorite ‘wrong tattoo’ story:
I personally have katagana tattooed on my back, I got the script from John Calvo in Guam who used to be a training partner to Enson Inoue(retired Pride fighter), which is where John got it. Anyway, I like the quote, it kind of means something to me, so I got it on my back. I showed it to some guys at work, and one dude decides he is going to get some kanji too, cause it’s, you know, cool. And stuff.

So he gets ‘No Fear’ and ‘Death Before Dishonor’(which is funny cause we’re Navy, not Marines) on the backs of his arms. Another friend of ours was dating a Japanese chick at the time, and she also knew how to read Chinese(Japanese and Chinese share some of the same characters, but with different meanings). Long story short(too late), in Chinese the tattoos said 'Poor and Unsuccessful.'HA!
