I have a tattoo I’m looking to possibly remove, and from what I’ve read, laser removal is the most effective way to go, so I’m mostly looking for information on that.
If anybody on here has had one removed, I am curious about the experience, including:
A buddy of mine was in prison for 4-plus years and acquired some ink he liked alot less as a free man. He got a great deal on the cost, but it’s taken multiple 30 minute sessions to fully remove and he swears up and down that it was one of the most painful things he’s ever done. He also said you can smell your skin “melting”.
My best friend is a piercer in a tattoo shop that has a laser and he is in the process of getting one of his first tattoos removed and he says “IT FUCKING HURTS!!”
As for as how many times it would take depends on size, area and the amount of black thats in the tattoo. If its all black then you wont even notice any difference until after the 3rd or 4th time.
But, one of the artist that works in the shop got her whole arm lasered just so she could get new work done and you cant even tell.
But this is why I always tell ppl to think b4 they get a tattoo, and when ever I see someone walk into the shop and look on the walls for ideas I can’t help but laugh.
you could always go aryan brotherhood style and have someone cut it off.
or like the crazy sXe kids that will sandpaper your sXe patch right out of your hide if you get caught not being straight edge.
This thread is a win.
Especially when you consider the several pro-tattoo threads that have been on here in the past. But hey… everyone’s free to use their body as an art gallery for someone else’s handiwork!
At least when I get tired of the picture I have hanging in my living room, it’s as easy as taking it down. No pain, no expense, no scars.

To me it indicates poor planning and no forethought. It’s not hard to find a design you’ll want forever, but it’s even easier to find crap you’ll want off in 5 years.
